辽宁岫岩满族自治县农村初中英语教学现状的调查与研究

近年来,我国提出建设教育公平,推动城乡义务教育均衡发展。农村基础教育得到了越来越多的关注。岫岩满族自治县是辽宁省的一个贫困县,该县基础教育发展较为落后,英语教学仍不能适应课程改革的要求。因此,对该县英语教学的现状进行调查与研究显得十分必要。本调查不仅可有助于全面了解和掌握当地英语教学现状,也可为当地教育行政部门制定有关英语教育政策提供调查依据。本研究以教学要素多维分析理论、建构主义理论为理论依据,以《义务教育英语课程标准》(2011年版)为指导,对岫岩县农村初中英语教学现状进行调查,分析现存问题产生的原因并提出相应的改进建议。本研究以岫岩县北部五所初级中学为样本,综合运用问卷法、访谈法和课堂观察法,从课时安排、教学资源、师资力量、学生的学习、教师课堂教学、教学评价几方面入手,对这几所农村学校的英语教学现状展开调查。调查结果表明,岫岩县初中英语教学存在的问题有教学资源不足、教材偏难、师资力量薄弱、学生学习兴趣低且基础薄弱、课堂教学低效、评价不合理等。导致这些问题产生的主要原因有:英语教师专业素质偏低、家长对孩子英语学习不重视、农村学生缺少英语学习环境、应试教育的消极影响、学校和教育主管部...
