约翰·派博牧师2019福音联盟全国大会布道模拟英汉交传实践报告

基督教与佛教、伊斯兰教并称世界三大宗教。至今,除日本外的主要发达国家都是基督教文化主导的国家。20世纪,除了南美、非洲、亚洲的韩国等地,中国也是基督徒人数增长最快的地区和国家之一。基督教的主要活动之一——布道及其口译对其传播起到了重要作用。尽管如此,目前学术界主要局限于基督教文献笔译研究,口译研究较少。本报告基于模拟英汉交传实践报告,材料来源于约翰·派博(John Piper)牧师在2019福音联盟全国大会上的布道。在此背景下,本报告以此次布道为翻译素材,以口译的形式对福音相关的基督教教义进行阐述,观点鲜明,具有应用与研究价值。本报告以释意理论为理论基础,对模拟交传过程中出现的译文非流利性、非连贯性、僵硬拗口、信息缺失、情感对等缺失、不当暂停、有声停顿进行分析,对布道中的经文引用、书面表达等难点,在译前准备、译中分析方面提出了指导意见,并提出应采用增译、减译技巧。本报告结合理论与实践,旨在肯定释意理论在布道交替传译中的应用;但同时,报告也提出“翻译发言人和翻译信息的平衡”,旨在弥补释意理论在布道交替传译中对发言人强调不够的局限。
