《白人种族框架》（第七章）翻译实践报告

　　该报告翻译文本选自乔·R·费金（Joe R.Feagin）《白人种族框架》一书的第七章《制度运行下的白人种族框架——种族压迫官僚化》,主要研究白人种族框架在美国重要制度中的影响和运行方式,评估白人种族框架对美国当代公共政策决策的影响,并探讨白人种族框架的其他全球性影响。笔者选择该作品作为翻译文本是为了解美国的种族主义概念、历史和现状,以及人权问题,并希冀为他人了解相关国际形势提供可靠帮助。该文本属于信息型文本,旨在表现事物与事实。为了准确传达原文本作者的思想和观点,笔者选用德国功能派主要理论之一、弗米尔提出的目的论作为指导理论,采用直译、意译的翻译方法,辅以词性转换、句型转换、分译和重构等翻译技巧,以实现译文在译语环境中的交际目的为最高准则,传递原文的指称内容,笔者希望该翻译报告对相关文本的翻译具有借鉴功能。
