初中英语阅读课中词汇学习策略的实证研究

  众所周知,词汇学习是初中英语学习的重要组成部分。正如语言学家M.McCarthy(1990:3)指出:不管一个人的语法学得多好,不管他的语音多么漂亮,如果他没有足够的词汇来表达他的感情或理解对方的观点和想法,他就无法用这门语言和别人交流。现行《普通初中英语课程标准》(2011)对初中生词汇学习提出在义务阶段九年级结束时要学会使用1500-1600个单词和200-300个习惯用语或固定搭配。但是,在新的招生政策下,学生英语基础参差不齐、多数学生词汇学习方面困难重重。虽然教师和学生在词汇教与学上花了大量的时间和精力,但词汇学习费时低效的现象依然严重,许多学生难以达到新课标对词汇知识的要求。因此,教师要加强对学生进行有效的学习词汇策略的指导显得尤为重要。阅读是最重要的词汇输入方式之一,每个人的大部分词汇都是通过阅读获得的。本文旨在调查词汇学习策略在初中生英语学习中的运用,并探索词汇学习策略在英语阅读课中对学生词汇积累和阅读理解能力提高的实验研究。实验用四个月的时间,从2017年9月至2018年1月,以笔者所任教的天津市第三中学八年级两个平行班的60位同学作为研究对象。根据前测,实验班和对照班...
