目的论指导下的北京传统建筑名称英译研究

　　北京传统建筑在世界上享有盛名,吸引了许多外国游客。对外来游客而言,这些建筑名称是他们了解北京传统建筑文化的直接途径。因此,如何翻译这些建筑名称成为一项至关重要且意义深刻的任务。本文以翻译目的论为指导,以北京主要旅游景点中的传统建筑名称和部分国外建筑名称为语料进行研究。本文共收集400余条北京和国外建筑名称。根据语料来源将语料归类制表,分析了北京传统建筑名称翻译现状,发现北京传统建筑名称的翻译情况整体较好,很少有误译现象,但存在着翻译形式多样、一名多译、汉语拼音使用不规范等问题,本文根据目的论,针对存在的问题提出了规范化意见;根据语言结构将语料归类制表,分析了北京传统建筑名称的语言结构特点和名称中所蕴含的信息,并以国外建筑名称的命名方法为指导,依据目的论总结出适用于北京传统建筑名称专名和通名的翻译方法。本文以目的论三大原则为依据,分析了目的原则,连贯原则和忠实原则在北京现有建筑名称翻译中的应用,讨论当前翻译是否符合翻译目的和三大原则的要求并提出改进意见。北京传统建筑名称出现在不同的场景有着不同的翻译目的,主要有向外国游客指示路标、传达历史文化内涵和介绍建筑物功能和类型这三方面目的。翻译目...
