基于语域理论的《东亚》英汉翻译实践报告

　　本翻译实践报告是基于笔者在中国社会科学院实习期间翻译的《东亚》(Eas对Asia:A Cultural,Social and Political History)一书中关于日本历史文化介绍的节选部分所撰写而成的翻译实践报告。《东亚》一书的作者伊沛霞(一作“伊佩霞”)(Patricia Buckley Ebrey),是美国著名汉学家,现任美国华盛顿大学历史系教授,在东亚研究领域著作颇丰。《东亚》是作者对东亚文化多年研究的一个重要成果,书中主要讲述了中、日、韩三国数千年来的历史文化变迁。伊沛霞教授在该书中以西方人的视角、同时又以女性视角将中、日、韩三国的历史娓娓道来,具有较高的学术价值和研究价值。本报告所选择的翻译材料是原著中第十三章到第二十九章中所有关于日本的章节小块介绍部分。本翻译实践报告以英国当代英国语言学家、系统功能语言学创始人韩礼德(M.A.K.Halliday)提出的“语域”理论为理论视角,从“语域”的三个变量(语场、语旨、语式)出发,对原文和译文进行分析和探究,借助英汉语言中不同语言层次上的语域标记,结合实例分析,对翻译过程中的语域对应翻译技巧做出相关阐释,并对此次翻译实践进...
