农村初中生英语课外阅读现状调查研究

英语课外阅读是让学习者在其语言能力范围内接触大量可理解的语言材料,是提高学生阅读能力的手段和重要途径。英语课外阅读能使学习者依据自身学习情况有针对性的选择适合自己的读物,从而更有针对性的学习。但是和城市的教学相比,农村课外阅读存在着阅读要求不明确,教学读物单一等问题,所以农村初中英语课外阅读值得引起人们的进一步关注和深思。基于输入理论、自主学习理论和图示理论,本研究采用定性和定量研究方法,对广西两所农村中学的281名初中生有效问卷进行了统计分析。在问卷调查的基础上,随机抽取了6名学生、4名教师进行访谈以进行深入了解。本研究旨在探讨以下两个问题:(1)农村初中生英语课外阅读整体状况如何?(2)农村初中生英语课外阅读问题存在的原因是什么?研究结果表明:(1)农村初中生英语课外阅读总体情况属于中等水平,仍有很大的改善空间,大多数学生没有养成良好的英语课外阅读的习惯。首先他们都认可英语课外阅读在提高他们的英语水平上有很大的作用,所以他们具有一个积极的态度。但是,由于学业压力大,农村英语课外阅读普遍出现了阅读时间少,阅读量不足,阅读材料单一,缺少阅读计划以及需加强老师的检查和评价等问题。调查数据...
