《电子游戏的翻译与本地化:娱乐软件的全球化》(节选)翻译实践报告

技术革新深刻地改变了我们的生活,作为时代变迁的见证者,我们逐渐意识到,随着人们的娱乐活动趋向多样化,作为文化交流手段的翻译已不再局限于一般形式。纵观翻译的发展现状与发展趋势,笔者发现音频和字幕翻译逐渐变得流行,并且有越来越多的学者开始关注视听翻译。与传统的文本翻译相比,视听翻译的对象具有多方感官的效果,因而它比普通文本的翻译更复杂。此外,视听翻译往往会综合运用特殊的翻译策略。由此可见,关于视听翻译的研究具有极大的学术价值,同时也能用来引导相关行业的未来发展。本报告基于米格尔·A·伯纳尔-梅里诺博士所撰写的《电子游戏的翻译与本地化:娱乐软件的全球化》一书的第三章第一节和第二节的英译汉实践。笔者所选的文本着重分析了电子游戏的语言特点。笔者所选的文本中包含丰富的专业术语与复杂的长难句。根据赖斯的文本类型理论和纽马克的交际翻译理论,此文本属于信息型文本。在翻译信息型文本时要特别注意译文的准确性和可读性。本报告的价值体现在以下两个方面:首先,通过运用相关的翻译理论,笔者可以进一步提高自己的翻译水平。第二,笔者希望能借助本次翻译实践为未来从事游戏本地化翻译的译者提供一些参考,与此同时,将新的专业知...
