《中国历史地理纲要》（第二章节选）汉英翻译实践报告

　　《中国历史地理纲要》是由历史地理学家史念海先生所著的一部关于中国历史地理的学术专著。该书内容主要涉及到了历史水文和气候、历史植被地理等方面的内容。全书从绪论开始共有四大章节,详细论述了地形、水文、气候、植被、土壤、沙漠等方面的变化,为后期历史地理方面的进一步研究奠定了基础。本文主要以《中国历史地理纲要》中第二章节里第四和第五小节作为翻译实践文本。该部分主要探讨气候变化与植被分布的问题。本文笔者结合理论学习和多次实践翻译来完成此项翻译,并对此项翻译作以汇报。本项翻译实践文本属于历史地理学类学术性文本,文中出现大量的历史文献、专业名词等,为了把此类学术著作以另一种语言呈现给读者,并为读者所接收,笔者采用彼得·纽马克(Peter Newmark)的翻译关联法指导翻译实践。纽马克的翻译关联法是在语义翻译和交际翻译的基础上提出来的,综合两种对立观点而形成的统一的方法,主要讲究对文本的紧贴程度,即在词汇、语法和语篇三个方面的紧贴翻译,从而体现一个文本中可以运用多个不同的翻译方法。在结构安排上,笔者将本项翻译实践报告分为五个章节。第一章节主要是对翻译实践任务的背景描述:介绍翻译任务背景、目的以及原文...
