四川博物院讲解词汉英口译实践报告

  本报告基于译者为一位美国游客口译四川博物院中文讲解词的实践经历而写成。参观过程中,讲解员主要对青铜器馆、汉代陶石馆和工艺美术馆三个常设展览进行了介绍。本次口译任务以交替传译的方式进行。基于现场录音的转录文本,译者总结出这份讲解词的三个特征:知识性、通俗性和口语性。然后,译者对释意理论进行了介绍,并分析了该理论在口译实例中的指导意义。释意理论提出,翻译的程序模式是理解、脱离语言外壳和再表达。该理论的代表人物塞莱斯科维奇使用了一个三角模式来表述该过程。而后,该报告阐述了案例的具体情况,并结合释意理论的相关原则,深入探讨了该理论在本次项目中的应用。最后,译者陈述了主要发现,评价了项目的局限性,并提出了相关建议。基于四川博物院讲解词的三个特点,本报告提出了六条口译策略。第一,针对知识性这一特点,译者采用了音译和解释文博术语以及纠正讲解词内容中的错误两条策略。音译加解释的方法既帮助外国游客了解了术语的中文读音,又传递了含义。此外,译者及时纠正了讲解词中的错误,保证了信息的准确性。这两条策略的应用体现了译员自身百科知识储备的重要性。第二,针对讲解词的通俗性,译者从内含意思和外显意思两个层面理解了讲...
