【摘要】：随着国际化进程的逐步推进,英语新闻汉译成为中国观察世界的重要手段。新闻所具有的即时、客观、准确的特点符合我国准确了解外界信息的需求,为了便于国人及时了解世界的发展动态,就必须对英语新闻进行汉译。鉴于英语新闻汉译在中西方交流中所起的重要作用,英语新闻的汉译研究越来越受到国内外学者的重视。《纽约时报》是美国高级报纸、严肃刊物的代表,长期以来拥有良好的公信力和权威性。因此本项目报告选取了该报网站公布的2015年6月至2015年12月之间的30篇新闻报道作为研究对象,确立了汉译实践的重难点并提出了相应的解决方案。本报告首先分析了英语新闻的语言特点,分别从词汇、句式、修辞与篇章特点上进行分析,然后在尤金·奈达功能对等理论的指导下,分别从词的对等,句式的对等,修辞手法的对等及篇章对等的角度来进行汉译实践,力求译文不仅准确地传译出源语信息,同时照顾到汉语读者的可接受性,使汉语读者在阅读新闻时可获得与源语读者类似的反应与体验。本文期望能够为英语新闻汉译提供有价值的参考,同时通过翻译实践提高自身翻译水平。
