高中生英语阅读策略与阅读成绩的相关性研究

【摘要】：随着改革开放和国际贸易的发展,英语这门作为国际通用的语言备受重视,由此国内掀起了学习英语的热潮。那么自然而然,作为英语学习的重要组成部分的英语阅读教学也一直备受关注。近年来,随着英语教学改革的深入,众多学者把阅读教学作为一个重要的研究点,因为阅读不仅是学习语言的一项基本技能,而且也是一种重要的语言输入方式。所以本研究是站在巨人的肩膀上,秉承现代英语教学理念,肩负着对英语阅读教学做出一点贡献的基础上完成的。《高中英语课程标准》明确指出,英语阅读教学不应该停留在单纯的词汇、语法上面,而应注重对学生思维能力的培养,教会他们如何领会文章整体内容,如何与作者进行思想交流。这显然与传统的阅读教学法不同,所以教会学生使用一些阅读策略就显得尤为重要,本研究就针对这一问题进行了研究。笔者在研究当中所选取的对象是笔者所在的延安市实验中学高二年级的130名学生。笔者首先通过问卷调查的方法,对他们阅读策略使用状况进行调查研究,然后用SPSS19.0对收集到的数据进行了描述性统计。在此基础上又对他们进行有效地英语阅读策略训练,并运用独立样本t检验,表明策略训练前后学生阅读成绩有一定的差异性,进而表明阅读策略的使用与阅读成绩具有一定的相关性。通过本研究笔者得出如下结论:1.其所在学校高中学生英语阅读策略使用总体状况不容乐观,即学生英语策略使用度偏低。2.通过英语阅读策略训练得知,英语阅读策略的使用与英语阅读成绩呈正相关,但是效果不明显,究其原因可能是学生还存在其他方面的问题,比如:师生关系不和谐、课堂氛围紧张以及课外知识储存量不足等。
[Abstract]:With the development of reform and opening up and international trade, English, as a common language in the world, has been attached great importance to. As a result, there has been an upsurge in learning English in China. As an important part of English learning, English reading teaching has been paid more and more attention. In recent years, with the deepening of English teaching reform, many scholars regard reading teaching as an important research point. Reading is not only a basic skill in language learning, but also an important language input method. The English Curriculum Standard for Senior High School clearly states that English reading teaching should not be confined to simple vocabulary and grammar, but should pay attention to the cultivation of students' thinking ability. Teach them how to understand the whole content of the article and how to communicate with the author. This is obviously different from the traditional teaching method of reading, so it is especially important to teach students to use some reading strategies. In this study, 130 students in the second grade of Yanan Experimental Middle School were selected as the subjects of the study. First of all, the author adopted the method of questionnaire investigation. This paper investigates the use of reading strategies, then makes descriptive statistics on the data collected by using SPSS19.0. On the basis of this, they are trained effectively in English reading strategies, and independent sample t-test is used. The results show that there are some differences in reading achievement before and after strategy training. Through this study, the author draws the following conclusion: 1. The general situation of English reading strategy use among the high school students in their school is not optimistic. Through the training of English reading strategies, we know that the use of English reading strategies is positively correlated with English reading scores, but the effect is not obvious. The reason may be that students still have other problems. For example: teacher-student relationship is not harmonious, classroom atmosphere is tense and extracurricular knowledge storage is insufficient.
