多元智能理论指导下的英语阅读个性化教学

【摘要】:2011年颁布的英语课程标准强调,我国英语教育的重点应该发生转变,改变传统英语课堂上过于重视对英语语法、词汇的讲授,应培养学生综合运用语言的能力;改变传统英语课堂上的被动式教学模式,应激发学生学习英语的兴趣和动机,培养和提升学生自主学习的能力;因此,为符合新英语课程标准的要求,教师需要改变传统的英语教学理念和教学方法。多元智能理论的本质和英语课程标准的理念是一致的。1983年,加德纳在他的《智能的结构》一书中首次提出了多元智能理论。该理论指出,每个人都拥有八种发展程度不同的智能。多元智能理论强调,教师要尊重和认可每个学生的独特的智能,在充分了解学生的多元智能水平的基础上,设计科学有效的多元智能英语阅读教学活动,以促进学生多元智能的全面发展的同时提高英语成绩。本研究将多元智能理论与英语阅读教学相结合,通过调查分析湖南省石门雁池中学八年级的实验班和对照班的共97名学生的多元智能发展水平和英语阅读基本情况,以人教版八年级英语为教材,以多元智能理论为指导,以问卷调查,测试,课堂观察,SPSS软件分析为调查工具,设计符合中学生的英语阅读个性化教学活动,来探讨以下的研究问题:第一,多元智能理论与英语阅读教学相结合能否提高学生对英语阅读的学习动机和学习兴趣?第二,将多元智能理论应用到英语课堂中,能否提高学生的英语阅读能力和成绩?经过四个月的个性化英语阅读教学实验,通过分析实验结果,作者发现,实验班学生对英语阅读的兴趣明显增强,其英语阅读能力明显提高。研究结果显示将多元智能理论与英语阅读教学相结合,能够激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生的英语阅读能力。本研究有助于教师更好的应用多元智能理论;有助于学生了解自己的多元智能发展水平,并合理运用多元智能解决问题;有助于促进多元智能理论在我国的推广。
[Abstract]:In order to change the passive teaching mode in traditional English classroom, students' interest and motivation in learning English should be stimulated, and the students' ability of autonomous learning should be cultivated and promoted. Therefore, in order to meet the requirements of the new English curriculum standards,Teachers need to change traditional English teaching concepts and methods.The essence of the theory of multiple intelligences is consistent with the idea of English curriculum standard. In 1983, Gardner first proposed the theory of multiple intelligences in his "structure of Intelligence".The theory points out that everyone has eight different levels of intelligence.The theory of multiple intelligences emphasizes that teachers should respect and recognize the unique intelligence of each student and design scientific and effective English reading teaching activities on the basis of fully understanding the students' level of multiple intelligences.In order to promote the comprehensive development of multiple intelligences of students while improving English performance.This study combines multiple intelligences theory with English reading teaching and analyzes the development level of multiple intelligences and the basic situation of English reading among 97 students in the eighth grade experimental class and control class of Shimen Yanchi Middle School in Hunan Province.Based on the personal Education version of Grade 8 English as a teaching material, the theory of multiple intelligences as a guide, and a questionnaire survey, testing, classroom observation and SPSS software analysis as an investigation tool, the individualized teaching activities of English reading in accordance with middle school students are designed.First, can the combination of multiple intelligences theory and English reading teaching improve students' motivation and interest in English reading?Secondly, applying the theory of multiple intelligences to the English classroom can improve the students' reading ability and achievement.After four months of individualized English reading teaching experiment, the author finds that the students' interest in English reading is obviously enhanced and their English reading ability is obviously improved by analyzing the results of the experiment.The results show that the combination of multiple intelligences theory and English reading teaching can stimulate students' interest in learning and improve their English reading ability.This research is helpful for teachers to better apply the theory of multiple intelligences, to help students understand their own level of development of multiple intelligences, and to use multiple intelligences reasonably to solve problems, and to promote the spread of the theory of multiple intelligences in China.
