主述位结构及信息结构在初中英语听力教学中的应用
[Abstract]:With the increasingly frequent communication with foreign countries, English listening has become more and more important. The new curriculum standards in 2012 put forward detailed and specific requirements for English listening in all stages. The new textbook also includes listening training on the agenda. Improving students' English listening ability is being paid more and more attention by English teachers. The questionnaire survey shows that most junior middle school students' English listening ability is very weak. In the process of listening, middle school students can not use their own language to accurately understand the content of listening. To solve this problem, scholars at home and abroad have shown that the application of discourse function theory in English listening teaching is helpful to improve students' listening ability. However, the main research on college English listening teaching rarely involves junior high school English listening teaching. Textual function is one of the three metafunctions of systemic functional linguistics, which refers to the function of organizing language components into idioms. It includes thematic and rheme structure, information structure and cohesion. In thematic structure, theme is often the first part of sentence and the topic of conversation. Rheme is the interpretation and description of the theme. Information structure is the structure of information unit which interacts with known information and new information. Due to limited space, this study only deals with the application of thematic structure and information structure in junior high school English listening teaching. Theme-rheme structure and information structure can help middle school students to understand how to organize and distribute the central information in the discourse. Therefore, this paper attempts to apply the theory of thematic structure and information structure to junior high school English listening teaching in order to improve the listening ability of middle school students. Can the guidance based on thematic structure and information structure improve junior high school students' English listening ability? This is the research problem of this paper. In order to solve this problem, this paper focuses on how to apply the theory of thematic structure and information structure to junior high school English listening teaching. Then, this research takes two parallel classes in Zhumadian Gucheng Junior Middle School as the experimental object, and launches the concrete teaching experiment. The purpose of this paper is to explore whether the application of theme-rheme structure and information structure theory in junior high school English listening teaching is helpful to the improvement of English listening ability of middle school students. The first class is the experimental class and the other class is the control class. The author tests the listening ability of the two classes before and after the experiment, and makes a detailed comparative analysis of the results of the two classes. The results show that there are obvious differences between the two classes after the experiment, and the students in the experimental class have made greater progress. This proves that the application of theme-rheme structure and information structure theory in junior high school English listening teaching can improve students' listening ability to a certain extent.
