初中英语教师词汇磨蚀现状研究

  外语的词汇磨蚀指外语学习者在外语学习结束后,由于某些原因,其词汇知识发生了流失,这是一种非常普遍的现象。近年来,研究者针对不同类型的语言学习者的词汇磨蚀情况进行了一系列研究。然而,针对初中英语教师词汇磨蚀的实证研究却很少,因此,相关的实证研究仍有必要。本研究以昆明市城区以及农村地区的104名初中英语教师为研究对象,运用定性和定量相结合的研究方法,采用词汇测试卷、问卷调查和访谈来探索该地区初中英语教师的词汇磨蚀现状及其影响因素,以寻求抵抗英语教师词汇磨蚀的有效途径。研究发现:(1)昆明地区初中英语教师英语词汇受到了磨蚀,且农村地区的磨蚀情况比城市地区更严重。其中,大部分受蚀词汇并非被完全遗忘;(2)英语接触量、磨蚀前英语水平、情感态度以及相关政策均会影响初中英语教师的词汇磨蚀,其中,英语接触量对其影响最大;(3)学校或相关机构采取了一些措施,但效果不佳。根据研究结果,可以提出以下有效措施:第一,教师应该增加英语接触量。第二,教师应对英语保持积极的态度,从而帮助自己提高英语能力。第三,学校和有关部门应为城乡地区的教师提供机会增加英语接触量,以克服词汇磨蚀。本文的研究结果以期加深对外语词汇磨...
