批评隐喻分析视域下中美领导人高校演讲中的概念隐喻

传统隐喻研究将隐喻视为一种单纯的修辞手法,后Lakoff和Johnson从认知角度研究隐喻,Jonathan Charteris-Black则进一步提出了批评隐喻分析理论。该理论综合运用批评语篇分析、认知语言学、语料库语言学和语用学等研究方法分析语篇中的隐喻,揭示背后话语群体的信仰、态度和情感。自批评隐喻分析理论提出以来,越来越多的学者尝试将该理论运用到政治语篇的分析,但部分研究并未严格按照批评隐喻分析的要求进行,而中美政治领导人校园演讲中概念隐喻的比较和对比研究更是鲜有人涉猎。本文采用定量和定性法,以概念隐喻理论为指导,从批评隐喻分析角度探究中国领导人习近平、胡锦涛、江泽民和美国领导人奥巴马、布什、克林顿校园演讲中英文语料库中的概念隐喻异同,进而对所形成的原因进行分析。研究表明,中国领导人在校园演讲中主要采用的隐喻有:旅途隐喻、战争隐喻、建筑隐喻、有机体隐喻、家庭隐喻、圆圈隐喻、河流隐喻、纽带隐喻、艺术隐喻和象棋隐喻。美国领导人在校园演讲中主要采用的隐喻有:旅途隐喻、有机体隐喻、战争隐喻、建筑隐喻、宗教隐喻、家庭隐喻、纽带隐喻、河流隐喻、自然环境隐喻和圆圈隐喻。中英文中,家庭隐喻、河...
