翻译在对外汉语教学中的作用

【摘要】：本文以罗伯聃英译《红楼梦》第六回为研究内容,从汉字注音体系、翻译风格特点、对外汉语中翻译的特点这三个方面分析此译本。文章第一部分采用历时研究的方法分析汉字注音体系的发展历史以及罗伯聃英译本在其中的承上启下的作用。汉字注音体系的发展由来已久,中国古代传统的注音方式是用汉字为汉字注音。汉朝佛教传入时期,在两种语言的交流学习中开始出现梵语为汉字注音的现象。此后隋唐时期虽然与外交流频繁,但汉字注音也一直是采用中国传统的汉字注音方法,直到明朝时期西方传教士开启了罗马字母为汉字注音的新方式,此后,随着西方传教士不断来到中国传教,罗马字母为汉字注音的方法得到了不断发展,主要经历了罗明坚、利玛窦注音体系,马礼逊注音体系,卫三畏注音体系以及最后集大成者威妥玛注音体系,直到今天的汉语拼音也是建立在这些西方传教士、学者的成果之上。文章第二部分采用阐释研究的方法分析罗伯聃英译本严格忠实于原文的翻译风格以及这种以语言教学为目的的翻译与文学翻译的不同。罗伯聃英译《红楼梦》第六回的目的是进行汉语教学,与现在主流的《红楼梦》英译研究不一样,也就是与文学翻译有很大的区别。分析研究这种区别正是研究罗伯聃英译本的价值所在。文章第三部分通过对比研究的方法分析罗伯聃英译本所体现的异化翻译策略,得出罗伯聃对中国典籍《红楼梦》的翻译对当代对外汉语教学的启示和作用,对翻译教学以及典籍英译的启示。文章以同一时期的包腊英译《红楼梦》为对比文本分析罗伯聃英译本在翻译策略以及翻译目的上的特点,以及这种以语言教学为目的的翻译在当今对外汉语教学和翻译的启示作用。在这一部分,文章分析了翻译目的与翻译策略的关系,指出翻译策略取决于翻译目的。文章旨在分析罗伯聃这种以语言教学为目的的翻译对当代语言教学以及翻译教学的借鉴作用。
[Abstract]:This paper focuses on the translation of "A Dream of Red Mansions" 6th times by Robert Dan, from the perspective of Chinese phonetic system and translation style. The first part analyzes the history of the phonetic system of Chinese characters and the role of Robert Dan's English translation in the translation of Chinese characters by means of diachronic research. The development of phonetic system has a long history. In ancient China, the traditional phonetic way was to pronounce Chinese characters with Chinese characters. The phenomenon of Sanskrit phonetic pronunciation of Chinese characters began to appear in the communication between the two languages. Since then, although the Sui and Tang dynasties have been communicating frequently with foreign countries, Chinese phonetic pronunciation has also been used in the traditional Chinese phonetic method. Until the Ming Dynasty Western missionaries opened up a new way to pronounce the Roman alphabet to Chinese characters. After that, with the Western missionaries coming to China to preach, the method of Roman alphabet pronunciation for Chinese characters was continuously developed. Mainly experienced by Luo Mingjian, Matteo Ricci phonetic system, Malleson phonetic system, Wei San Fu phonetic system and the final master of the Wade phonetic system, until today the Pinyin is also based on these Western missionaries. The second part analyzes the translation style of Robendan's English translation, which is strictly faithful to the original text, and the difference between the translation for the purpose of language teaching and literary translation. The purpose of English translation of A Dream of Red Mansions 6th is to teach Chinese. It is different from the mainstream English translation of A Dream of Red Mansions. That is to say, there is a great difference from literary translation, which is the value of studying the translation of Robert Dandan in English. The third part of the thesis analyzes the alienation translation embodied in the translation of Robert Dan by means of contrastive study. Strategy. It is concluded that Luo Bodan's translation of the Chinese classic A Dream of Red Mansions has implications for contemporary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. On the implications of translation teaching and translation of classical books into English, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the translation strategies and the translation purposes of Robert Dandan's English translation, taking the same period's translation of Hong Lou Meng into English as a comparative text to analyze the characteristics of the translation strategy and the translation purpose of the translation of Robert Dandan. In this part, the author analyzes the relationship between translation Skopos and translation strategies. It is pointed out that translation strategies depend on the purpose of translation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the reference effect of Robert Dan's translation to contemporary language teaching and translation teaching.
