质性方法之于高等教育研究的缺位与在场策略

【摘要】：作为一类方法总称的质性研究,具有揭示高等教育的人文世界、关注高等教育中的"边缘者"和注重高等教育中的差异性等效用。然而,当下的高等教育研究主要使用思辨研究方法和实证研究方法,很少使用质性研究方法,这不利于发挥高等教育研究对质量提升的作用和促使高等教育研究方法走向多元化。要使质性方法成为高等教育研究的常用方法,高教研究界需要加深对质性研究方法的理解、辨明质性研究方法之间的差异、加强对质性研究的宣传和培育做质性研究的学风。
[Abstract]:As a kind of qualitative research, it has the effect of revealing the humanity world of higher education, paying attention to the "marginal people" in higher education and paying attention to the difference in higher education. However, the current research on higher education mainly uses speculative research and empirical research methods, and rarely uses qualitative research methods. This is not conducive to bringing into play the role of higher education research in improving quality and promoting the diversification of higher education research methods. In order to make qualitative method a common method in higher education research, the research circle of higher education needs to deepen the understanding of qualitative research methods, identify the differences between qualitative research methods, strengthen the propaganda of qualitative research and foster a style of study on qualitative research.
