中国研究生跨文化互动水平与跨文化敏感度的关系研究

近年来,中国高等教育国际化程度不断提升,这为本土学生不出国门便可接触到来自不同文化背景的国际生提供了可能性、便利性和经济性,但国际化校园能否使本土学生从中受益尚有待于进一步探索。本研究以校园国际化程度较高的江苏大学为研究个案,从在地国际化(Internationalization at home)的视角,首先采用问卷调查的研究方法,调查了中国研究生跨文化互动和跨文化敏感度的水平,进而探究了这两者是否存在相关关系;最后,在跨文化互动水平的高分组和低分组各选取6名研究生进行了深度访谈,进一步佐证东道主研究生的跨文化互动与跨文化敏感度的关系,为量化研究提供鲜活的例证。研究结果显示:国际化背景下,研究生的跨文化互动水平总体较低,高、中、低三组的跨文化互动水平存在显著差异;研究生的跨文化敏感度整体处于中等偏上的水平。总体上,跨文化互动水平与跨文化敏感度有显著的正相关关系。研究同时发现,高水平跨文化互动组的跨文化敏感度与中、低水平跨文化互动组的跨文化敏感度都存在显著差异,但中、低水平跨文化互动组间的跨文化敏感度不存在显著差异。然而,在跨文化敏感度的五个维度中,互动信心、互动专注与互动投入和跨文化互动水平有显著的正相关关系;而互动享受与尊重文化差异和跨文化互动水平没有相关关系。本研究具有理论、实践和教学意义。从在地国际化的视角,本研究对于高校管理人员和教师利用多元文化经历和互动提升研究生的跨文化敏感度和跨文化能力具有指导意义;同时,研究生也需要主动迎接跨文化互动带来的益处和挑战。
