Trados环境下化工设备说明手册汉译报告

化工英语是科技英语的重要分支之一。术语多、词汇专业性强和背景知识复杂等特点使得化工类文本的翻译成为了一个难点。但随着全球化进程的加快和翻译行业的蓬勃发展,以Trados为代表的计算机辅助翻译软件正在帮助缓解翻译工作的繁琐程度,起到积极的促进作用。为了丰富化工英语的翻译研究,在借助翻译工具的条件下,笔者分析了翻译过程中遇到的诸多问题,提出相应的解决方案。本翻译实践报告以《CM催化剂再生控制系统设备说明&数据手册》（CM Catalyst Regeneration Control System Equipment Instruction&Date Book）为研究对象,从中选取 1 5000词左右的篇幅为此实践报告的翻译材料和研究材料。在语言层面,通过分析化工英语和源文本语言特点,表明选取Trados作为翻译工具的可行性。其次,详细介绍Trados的特点和主要工作流程。在技术层面,通过对机器翻译和计算机辅助翻译的对比来突出后者的优势。在实践层面,通过具体案例,本报告从“词汇”“句法”“语篇”三个方面分析在Trados环境下所发现的翻译和改译要点,从而对Trados辅助翻译化...
