基于框架理论的中职英语词汇教学行动研究

【摘要】:词汇是理解和使用语言的基础,英语词汇教学在帮助学生提高自身听、说、读、写能力的过程中发挥着举足轻重的作用。但是,词汇量不足却成为制约许多学生英语水平提高的一个重要因素,这在中职学校中尤为突出。迄今为止,对词汇教学所做的研究,大多数是针对中学和大学的,相比较之下,针对中职英语词汇教学的研究则显得极为不足。因此,笔者结合教育部对中职学校英语的教学要求,以英语词汇教学作为切入点,运用认知语言学的框架理论来指导英语词汇教学。Fillmore的框架理论揭示了百科知识和个人经验对词义理解和构建的重要作用,这对中职英语词汇教学有着重要的指导作用。本文旨在通过行动研究去探讨框架理论是否能够促进中职英语词汇教学,以解决以下两个研究问题:1.框架理论在词汇教学中的应用能否提高中职生的英语词汇学习兴趣?2.框架理论在词汇教学中的应用能否促进中职生对英语词汇的学习?本研究对南海信息技术学校14酒管1班的40名学生进行为期18周的行动研究,研究过程共分为准备阶段、第一阶段和第二阶段。本研究采用定量和定性相结合的方法,通过问卷调查、课堂观察、访谈和测试来收集数据。数据分析的结果显示:框架理论在词汇教学中的应用促进了学生对英语词汇的理解和记忆,提高了学生英语词汇学习的兴趣,学生的英语学习成绩有了较为明显的提高。
[Abstract]:Vocabulary is the basis of understanding and using language, English vocabulary teaching to help students improve their listening, say, read, play an important role in the process of writing. However, the lack of vocabulary has become an important factor restricting students English level, especially in secondary vocational schools. So far, research do the vocabulary teaching, mostly for schools and universities, by comparison, according to the study of secondary vocational English vocabulary teaching is extremely insufficient. Therefore, according to the Ministry of education for secondary vocational school English teaching requirements, the English vocabulary teaching as a starting point, the theoretical framework of cognitive linguistics to use frame theory guide the teaching of English vocabulary.Fillmore reveals encyclopedic knowledge and personal experience is important to understand the meaning and construction, which have important instruction of secondary vocational English Vocabulary Teaching Use. This paper aims to explore the theoretical framework to whether can promote vocational English vocabulary teaching, in order to solve the following two questions: 1. application of frame theory in vocabulary teaching can improve students' English vocabulary learning? 2. frame theory in vocabulary teaching can promote the application of English vocabulary learning in vocational school students? This research action research for 18 weeks on the South China Sea of information technology school 14 wine tube 40 students in class 1, the research process is divided into the preparation stage, the first stage and the second stage. This study adopts quantitative and qualitative methods, through questionnaire survey, classroom observation, interviews and tests to gather data. The results of data analysis shows that: the application of frame theory in vocabulary teaching to promote the students' understanding and memory of English vocabulary, improve the students' interest in English vocabulary learning, students' English The achievement of language learning has been greatly improved.
