【摘要】：本文旨在探讨以下问题:(1)文理科生对各种语言学习策略的偏爱程度及其变化;(2)文理科生在语言学习策略使用上是否具有显著性差异;(3)不同语言水平的文理科生对各种语言学习策略的偏爱程度及其变化;(4)性别差异是否导致文理科生在语言学习策略使用上具有显著性差异。本研究以天津工业大学为例,选取了文理科生共200名,采用问卷和课堂观察对他们的语言学习策略使用情况进行了调查。研究结果表明:(1)文理科生普遍偏爱补偿策略,对该策略的使用频率最高,且在一年的英语学习里并无发生显著性变化。两者对记忆策略的使用频率最低,但是第二学期文科生略有变化,对情感策略的使用频率最低;(2)在两学期的英语学习中,文理科生在社交策略的使用上都存在显著性差异,具体表现为文科生比理科生更加重视使用社交策略,并且随着时间的推移这种显著性差异也在明显扩大。(3)在一年的英语学习里,高、中、低不同语言水平的文理科生普遍偏爱补偿策略,对该策略的使用频率最高。且呈现出以下趋势:语言水平越高,使用策略的种类越多,频率也越高。(4)性别并不导致文理科生在语言学习策略使用上具有显著性差异,这也证实了性别对外语学习策略的影响通常不是直接的,而是间接起作用。但是女生比男生会更频繁地使用更多的学习策略,且随着时间的推移这种趋势会越来越明显。结合研究结果,作者在结论部分对大学英语教学提出意见。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this paper is to explore the following question: 1) the degree and changes of students' preference for various language learning strategies; (2) whether there is a significant difference in the use of language learning strategies among students majoring in arts and sciences; (3) the degree of preference and changes of language learning strategies among students of arts and sciences at different language levels; (4) whether gender differences lead to significant differences in language learning strategies. This study takes Tianjin University of Technology as an example to select 200 students of arts and science. Questionnaires and classroom observations were used to investigate the use of language learning strategies. The results showed that the students of arts and sciences generally preferred compensatory strategies and used them the most frequently. There was no significant change in English learning in one year. The frequency of using memory strategies was the lowest, but the second semester of liberal arts students changed slightly, and the frequency of using affective strategies was the lowest. (2) in the two term English learning, there are significant differences in the use of social strategies between students of arts and science, which is shown by the fact that students of arts pay more attention to the use of social strategies than science students. And with the passage of time, this significant difference is also significantly expanded in English learning in one year, high, middle and low language levels of arts and science students generally prefer compensation strategies. This strategy is used most frequently and shows the following trend: the higher the language level, the more kinds of policies are used. The higher the frequency, the higher the gender does not lead to significant differences in the use of language learning strategies, which also confirms that the influence of gender on foreign language learning strategies is usually not direct. But girls use more learning strategies more often than boys, and the trend becomes more apparent over time. Combined with the results. In the conclusion part, the author puts forward some suggestions on college English teaching.
