高职非英语专业学生英语自主学习能力培养的研究

【摘要】：自从“学习者自主”这一概念于1981年被Henri Holec正式引入外语教学领域以来,国内外学者围绕自主学习开展了大量的研究。而随着终生教育理念的兴起,国内外的外语工作者也意识到了培养学生自主学习能力的重要性。他们认为语言教学的目标便是培养学习者的自主学习能力。对于学生自主学习能力的培养在各级各类教学大纲和课程标准中得到了不同程度的体现。近些年来,随着国际经济的飞速发展,以培养技术技能型人才为目标的高职教育越来越受到人们的关注。而在高职学生中却普遍存在着英语自主学习能力不足的问题。本文在利用文献综述法对自主学习的国内外研究现状以及主要概念进行阐述的基础上,结合建构主义学习理论、人本主义学习理论以及社会认知理论,进行英语自主学习能力培养教学实验。通过对实验数据的收集和分析,以期回答以下两个问题:1.英语自主学习能力培养是否能够显著提高学生的自主学习能力?2.英语自主学习能力培养是否能够提高学生的英语水平?本人对山东城市建设职业学院市政与环境工程系2015级建筑新能源工程技术专业的两个班级共计81名学生进行了为期一个学期的教学实验,其中一个班作为实验班,一个班作为对照班。实验工具为调查问卷和前后测试卷。通过对实验前测数据的分析可知,实验开始前实验班和对照班学生的英语水平大体一致。在实验过程中,实验班的学生接受了英语自主学习能力培养的教学,对照班只是接受常规的英语教学。通过对实验班学生在实验前后的两次调查问卷进行分析得知,在为期半年的英语自主学习能力培养教学实验后,受试者的自主学习意识和能力得到增强,对自主学习能力的培养持积极态度。实验后测的结果显示,英语自主学习能力培养能够有效地提高学生的英语成绩。
[Abstract]:Since 1981, the concept of "learner autonomy" has been introduced into the field of foreign language teaching by Henri Holec. Scholars at home and abroad have carried out a lot of research around autonomous learning. But with the rise of lifelong education concept. Foreign language workers at home and abroad have also realized the importance of developing students' autonomous learning ability. They believe that the goal of language teaching is to develop learners' autonomous learning ability. All kinds of syllabuses and curriculum standards have been reflected in different degrees in recent years. With the rapid development of international economy. People pay more and more attention to higher vocational education, which aims at cultivating technical talents. However, there is a general problem of lack of English autonomous learning ability among higher vocational students. This paper makes use of the literature review method to study autonomously. Xi's domestic and foreign research status and the main concepts are described on the basis of. Combined with constructivism learning theory, humanism learning theory and social cognition theory, the experiment of cultivating English autonomous learning ability is carried out. The experimental data are collected and analyzed. In order to answer the following two questions: 1. Can the cultivation of English autonomous learning ability significantly improve students' autonomous learning ability? 2. Can the cultivation of English autonomous learning ability improve the students' English proficiency? I conducted a one-semester teaching experiment on 81 students in two classes of 2015 Department of Municipal and Environmental Engineering, Department of Municipal and Environmental Engineering, Shandong City Construction Vocational College. One class as the experimental class, one class as the control class. The experimental tools for the questionnaire and before and after the test paper. Through the analysis of the pre-test data. Before the beginning of the experiment, the English proficiency of the students in the experimental class and the control class was basically the same. In the course of the experiment, the students in the experimental class received the teaching of the cultivation of English autonomous learning ability. Through the analysis of the two questionnaires before and after the experiment, it is found that after half a year's English autonomous learning ability training experiment, the control class only accepts the regular English teaching. The subjects' consciousness and ability of autonomous learning have been enhanced, and they have a positive attitude towards the cultivation of autonomous learning ability. The results of the post-experiment test show that the cultivation of English autonomous learning ability can effectively improve the students' English achievement.
