【摘要】：近年来,我国高等教育国际化取得了迅猛发展。为了寻求自身的可持续发展,国内各大高校掀起了一场寻求国际合作的办学热潮。国内高校的英文网页在开展国际学术交流与合作、国际化合作办学以及留学生教育方面起着越来越重要的作用。高校英文简介中有效的信息传递能够吸引更多的留学生,加强国际间的学术交流。但是目前多数高校的英文网页是由中文网页直接翻译而来,由于汉英两种语言之间存在很多差异,导致译文的质量参差不齐,影响了高校对外宣传的效果。目前,对国内高校网页简介的英译研究主要集中在以功能翻译理论为指导的框架中,侧重对高校网页简介英译中翻译失误的分析,忽略了功能翻译理论无法对具体翻译失误进行指导这一问题,导致高校网页英译问题的解决方案缺乏理论指导。当前,针对国内高校网页简介英译问题的解决方案,大多数研究套用了能解决所有翻译问题的常规性办法(比如删除、简化、注释等),很少有强有力的理论指导,有的也只是套用一些应用翻译中的指导原则进行不全面的论述。格莱斯“合作原则”认为在所有的语言交际活动中,为了达到特定的目标,谈话双方存在着一种默契,一种双方都应该遵守的原则。高校网页作为与目的语读者进行交流的媒介,要想做到有效的交流,所体现出的语言信息也应该遵循这些原则。基于功能翻译理论和格莱斯的“合作原则”都是在强调语言的功能层面,本文将功能翻译理论与格莱斯的“合作原则”整合,构建出功能整合模型来研究国内高校网页简介的英译。首先,从功能翻译理论指导下的宏观角度出发,确定高校英文网页简介的文本类型、明确翻译行为、归类翻译问题。然后,以语内一致原则、功能加忠诚原则和格莱斯“合作原则”为指导,从微观层面对国内高校网页英译中所存在的问题提出针对性的解决方案。本文选取了30所国内高校和15所英美国家高校网页简介作为研究语料,主要采用个案研究、对比分析和定性分析的方法展开研究。首先,本文将国内高校英文网页简介和英语国家高校网页简介的平行文本进行对比分析,找出国内高校英文网页简介和英语国家高校简介的相同点和不同点,确定国内高校英文网页简介存在的问题。然后,采用定性研究,利用功能整合模型对高校网页简介及其英译作出全方位、多角度的分析。本文从语言的功能角度出发,构建功能整合模型全面解析高校网页简介及其翻译失误解决策略,为高校网页英译研究提供新视角,使高校网页简介的英译更加规范化、合理化,促进中西高校在学术领域上的交流并加快中国高校走向国际化轨道的步伐。
