《海上安全委员会第96届会议通过的SOLAS修正案》中衔接手段运用的汉译实践报告

【摘要】：本报告基于笔者《海安会第96次会议SOLAS修正案草案》的翻译实践,拟借鉴韩礼德和哈桑的语篇衔接理论,并依据其提出的五种语篇衔接手段分类,即指称、替代、省略、连接和词汇衔接,探讨在海事文献的翻译中,如何根据英汉两种语言的特点和不同的表达习惯,在翻译中选择行之有效的翻译策略。笔者发现,在海事文献翻译中衔接手段处理的优劣,直接关系到译文的质量,在理解源文和重构译文的过程中起着不可忽视的作用。因此,译者应根据海事文献的语篇特征,谨慎地选择适当的衔接手段翻译策略。笔者希望通过对海事文献中衔接手段的分析和总结,为以后海事类文献的翻译实践提出一些参考和借鉴。
[Abstract]:Based on the translation practice of the SOLAS Amendment draft of the 96th meeting of MSC, this report intends to draw lessons from Halliday and Hasan's discourse cohesion theory and classify the five textual cohesion devices proposed by Halliday and Hasan. That is, reference, substitution, ellipsis, connection and lexical cohesion. In the translation of maritime documents, this paper discusses how to use the characteristics and different expression habits of English and Chinese in the translation of maritime documents. The author finds that the advantages and disadvantages of cohesive devices in the translation of maritime literature are directly related to the quality of the translation. It plays an important role in the process of understanding the source text and reconstructing the target text. Therefore, the translator should take into account the textual features of the maritime literature. By analyzing and summarizing the cohesive devices in maritime literature, the author hopes to provide some references and references for the translation practice of maritime literature in the future.
