《国王的恩典》（节选）翻译实践报告

【摘要】：科幻小说是一种兴起于西方的文学体裁,它的创作通常是基于一定的科学技术或者理论上的支持。在一定程度上,科幻小说促进了人们想象力的发展,给予人们一种对未来的向往,从而使生产力和创造力也得以进步。文学翻译是将一种语言的文学作品翻译成其他语言的行为,因此对于科幻小说的翻译也属于文学翻译的范畴。本报告选取翻译并研究的内容来自于《国王的恩典》一书,作者刘宇昆,美籍华裔科幻作家。本报告的主要目的是研究翻译目的论对文学翻译的指导作用。翻译目的论兴起于20世纪70年代的德国,属于功能派翻译理论,并且经历了四个发展阶段。它包括目的性原则、连贯性原则和忠实性原则。在本次翻译过程中,笔者始终以翻译目的论的三原则作为指导,力求在正确表达作者意图的同时,以更加通顺自然的汉语表达方式来使读者欣赏故事内容,增加读者的阅读兴趣,完善阅读体验。在科幻小说重回国内读者视野,再次受到重视的今天,笔者希望本篇翻译报告能够为今后更多优秀英文科幻小说的翻译提供经验。
[Abstract]:Science fiction is a kind of literary genre rising in the West. Its creation is usually based on the support of science and technology or theory. To a certain extent, science fiction promotes the development of people's imagination. Literary translation is the act of translating literary works in one language into other languages. Therefore, the translation of science fiction also belongs to the category of literary translation. Chinese American science-fiction writer. The main purpose of this report is to study the guiding role of Skopos in literary translation. Skopos emerged in Germany in 1970s and is a functional translation theory. And it has gone through four stages of development. It includes the principle of purpose, the principle of coherence and the principle of faithfulness. In this translation process, the author has always been guided by the three principles of Skopos in translation. While expressing the author's intention correctly, it is necessary to make readers appreciate the content of the story and increase their interest in reading with a more smooth and natural way of Chinese expression. The author hopes that this translation report can provide experience for the translation of more excellent English sci-fi novels in the future.
