【摘要】：本文是一篇翻译报告。翻译项目的原文是美国作者珍·马(Jean Ma)的作品《现代女性之声:华语电影界中的女歌手》(Sounding the Modern Woman:The Songstress in Chinese Cinema)。这本书通过描写华语电影界中的女歌手来向我们展示女性在现代社会中角色的变化以及她们是如何促进音乐与电影产业共同发展的。该报告主要基于全书第一章前三部分的英汉翻译。这部分主要讲的是在多媒体表演影响下诞生的有声电影以及音乐舞台在早期有声电影中的运用。该报告结合译者的翻译实践主要探讨了翻译时遇到的难点以及译者采取的翻译策略。翻译难点主要是电影类特殊词语的翻译以及电影场景描述的翻译,对此,报告重点提出了翻译时要结合文章和文化背景,给予译者一定的主体性。译者通过这个翻译项目重新理解了翻译过程,通过翻译策略的选择重新审视了译者的主体地位。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation report. The original text of the translation project is by Jean Maan, American author, "Voice of Modern Women: female Singers in Chinese Film" (. Sounding the Modern Woman:The Songstress in Chinese Cinema). This book shows us how women's roles in modern society have changed and how they have promoted the co-development of music and the film industry by depicting female singers in the Chinese film industry. The report is based on the first place in the book. The first three parts of the chapter are about English and Chinese translation. This part is mainly about audio films born under the influence of multimedia performance and the application of musical stage in the early audible movies. The report mainly discusses the translation practice of the translator. The difficulties encountered in translation and the translation strategies adopted by the translator are mainly the translation of special words of film type and the translation of film scene description. In view of this, the report puts forward that the translator should be given a certain subjectivity by combining the text and the cultural background. The translator has reinterpreted the process of translation through this translation project. Through the choice of translation strategies, this paper re-examines the translator's subjective position.
