医学院校大学英语教学中依托信息管理的批判性学术素养培养实证研究

【摘要】:以批判教育和社会文化学习理论为理论基础,提出了以批判性学术素养为核心培养目标,同时培养英语语言能力、专业信息素养和批判性思维能力的英语课程框架,并在汕头大学医学院一批医学生(N=195)中进行为期一年半的实证研究。研究采用前后测和个案研究法,通过能力自测量表、多维能力评分量表和访谈等方法获取数据。结果显示该课程模式能有效培养学生的批判性学术素养,学生的信息管理能力和批判性思维能力有显著提高,大学英语四级考试成绩优于70%的常模人群。研究同时显示批判性学术素养的多元能力在英语学习的过程中交互影响、互相促进,但课程在提升学生深层能力方面仍有待改善。
[Abstract]:Based on the theory of critical education and sociocultural learning, this paper puts forward the framework of English curriculum, which takes critical academic literacy as the core goal, and develops English language ability, professional information literacy and critical thinking ability at the same time. An empirical study was carried out in a group of medical students of Shantou University Medical College for a period of one and a half years. The results showed that the curriculum model could effectively cultivate students' critical academic literacy, and the students' ability of information management and critical thinking could be improved significantly. The study also shows that the multiple abilities of critical academic literacy interact and promote each other in the process of English learning, but the curriculum still needs to be improved in terms of improving students' deep competence.
