基于语境理论的高中英语词汇教学法初探

【摘要】:长期以来,英语词汇教学在英语教育教学中具有非常重要的作用,是英语教学的重点难点。在我省民族边疆地区的许多学校,由于缺少必要的指导学生对英语词汇无法进行有效记忆。因此他们英语词汇学习的效果差强人意,这势必影响他们听、说、读、写等其他板块的学习,而且会直接制约他们整体英语能力的提高。为此,我们要探究一种有效的,合适的方法来解决这个问题。本文主要探讨在高中英语词汇教学中,普通英语教师如何把语境理论运用于实际教学实践。除此之外,笔者采用问卷调查和测试的方法获得了大量的数据。笔者在实验前后分别在实验班做了两次问卷调查,实验前和试验后所得的数据结果分析表明,通过这次实验之后,实验班的大多数的学生比起以前变得对英语词汇学习更加感兴趣。在试验后有一大部分学生能够把语境理论运用到英语单词的理解和记忆当中。此外,实验前后作者在两个班(控制班与实验班)的90名学生当中进行了两次测试(前测与后测)。实验数据表明,实验班学生词汇量增加明显,测试平均分明显高于控制班。作者得出一个结论,将具体语境与目标词汇教学相结合,可以打破传统词汇教学模式,增强学生在词汇学习方面的信心。基于语境理论的高中英语词汇教学方法的确是非常有效的。本项研究对类似学校中面临相似问题的英语教师具有一定的启发作用。如果老师们能将语境理论与各自教学实际结合,他们同样可以革除自己长期沿袭的教学流弊,帮助学生重塑词汇学习的信心,改善自己英语词汇教学的效果,从而有效推动其它板块的教学。只有这样高中英语词汇教学才会有一个更好的前景。
[Abstract]:For a long time, English vocabulary teaching has played a very important role in the teaching of English, which is the key and difficult point of English teaching. Due to the lack of necessary guidance for students to memorize English vocabulary effectively, their English vocabulary learning effect is not satisfactory, which will inevitably affect their listening, speaking, reading, writing and other blocks of learning. Therefore, we should explore an effective and appropriate method to solve this problem. This paper mainly discusses the English vocabulary teaching in senior high school. Besides, the author has obtained a lot of data by means of questionnaire and test. Before and after the experiment, the author has made two questionnaires in the experimental class. The analysis of the data obtained before and after the experiment shows that, after this experiment, Most of the students in the experimental class have become more interested in English vocabulary learning than before. After the experiment, a large number of students can apply context theory to the comprehension and memory of English words. In addition, Before and after the experiment, 90 students in two classes (control class and experimental class) were tested twice (pre-test and post-test). The average score of the test is obviously higher than that of the control class. The author draws a conclusion that the combination of specific context and target vocabulary teaching can break the traditional vocabulary teaching mode. The method of English vocabulary teaching based on context theory is very effective. This study has some enlightenments for English teachers who face similar problems in similar schools. If teachers can combine context theory with their teaching practice, They can also eliminate their long-standing shortcomings in teaching, help students rebuild their confidence in vocabulary learning and improve their English vocabulary teaching. Only in this way, English vocabulary teaching in senior high school will have a better prospect.
