初中英语课堂教师重复语研究

【摘要】:在英语外语课堂中,教师话语不仅是教师向学生传递信息的主要方式,也是教师为学生搭建“支架”的重要形式之一。其中,重复更是教师话语使用过程中的一个常见现象。教师话语行为中的重复,尤其是有意重复,往往是为了实现某个教学目的。显然,只有有意重复才是英语外语教学中保证语言输入的一个重要手段。本文旨在调查初中英语课堂中教师重复现象的使用现状,其目的是为了找出英语外语教师在课堂上使用教师重复时存在的一些问题,并根据发现的问题提出相应的建议。本文主要采用了两种研究方法:课堂观察和访谈。观察对象是7位来自杭州某所普通初级公立中学的英语教师。观察者主要通过录音的方式,观察记录了16节初中英语课。笔者将录音材料转录整理后,经分析发现:教师重复可以被看作是一种相对稳定的教学风格。也就是说,每个教师对不同类型的教师重复的使用偏好是各不相同的。通常,每个教师使用的教师重复语内部组成受到学生英语水平的影响。此外,分析对比发现课前充足的准备和教学经验的累积对提高教师重复的质量有一定帮助。令人欣慰的是,所有被观察的教师都注意到了用积极反馈保证学生的学习体验,比如通过重复学生的回答以示赞同。然而,在外语英语课堂中,教师在教师重复的实际应用方面仍然存在很多问题。在访谈中,笔者发现教师和他们的学生就教师重复的使用上出现了一些意见分歧。幸而被观察的教师都表示可以根据学生的英语水平和需求对各自的教师重复进行调整。基于以上的研究发现,本文最终在结论部分提出了一些教师重复的改善建议:(1)英语外语教师应该通过行动研究施行自我检测,以找出他们自身在教师重复语使用方面的问题;(2)英语外语教师应该坚持自我教育,不断提高自己的英语口语水平;(3)英语外语教师应该走入学生,了解学生对教师重复语的喜好;(4)使用手势可以帮助英语外语教师提高课堂效率。
[Abstract]:In the English foreign language classroom, teacher talk is not only the main way for teachers to convey information to students, but also one of the important forms for teachers to build "scaffolding" for students. Repetition is a common phenomenon in the use of teacher discourse. Repetition in teacher discourse behavior, especially intentional repetition, is often intended to achieve a teaching purpose. Only intentional repetition is an important means to ensure language input in English teaching. This paper aims to investigate the current situation of teachers' repetition in junior middle school English classes. The aim is to find out some of the problems that exist when English language teachers use teacher repetition in class. This thesis mainly adopts two methods: classroom observation and interview. The subjects of this study are 7 English teachers from an ordinary junior public middle school in Hangzhou. By recording, The author transcribes the recording materials and finds that teacher repetition can be regarded as a relatively stable teaching style. Each teacher's preference for different types of teacher repetition is different. In general, the internal composition of the teacher repetition used by each teacher is influenced by the students' English proficiency. The analysis and comparison found that adequate preparation before class and accumulation of teaching experience can help improve the quality of teacher repetition. It is gratifying that all observed teachers have noticed that positive feedback is used to ensure students' learning experience. For example, by repeating the student's answer to show approval. However, in the foreign language English classroom, there are still many problems in the practical application of teacher repetition. The author finds that there are some differences of opinion between teachers and their students on the repeated use of teachers. Fortunately, the observed teachers have indicated that they can adjust their teachers' repetition according to the students' English proficiency and needs. Based on the findings of the above study, Finally, in the conclusion part, the author puts forward some repeated suggestions for improving English teachers: 1) English foreign language teachers should carry out self-examination through action research. In order to find out their own problems in the use of teachers' repetition English teachers should persist in self-education and constantly improve their oral English. English teachers should enter the students. Understanding students' preferences for teacher repetition.) using gestures can help EFL teachers improve their classroom efficiency.
