【摘要】：随着中国改革开放与全球一体化的不断推进,中国与其他国家的金融业务往来日益密切,在国际金融舞台上扮演着重要的角色。因此,金融翻译在我国的经济建设中愈显重要。金融英语文本在词汇上具有专业性强、缩略语使用频繁和时代性强等特点;在句法上具有句子结构较为复杂,长句、无主句和被动句等使用较多的特点。因此,金融英语翻译,作为科技翻译的一个分支,对译文的准确性、专业性和规范性等有着严格的要求。本翻译实践报告是以作者完成的《并购评估》金融英语翻译项目为基础撰写的。本实践报告介绍了该金融翻译项目和翻译前的准备工作,包括阅读平行文本,了解金融英语行业翻译的相关要求。随后,作者重点论述了翻译过程中遇到的困难和解决方法。其中,两个主要的难点是英语长句和术语的翻译。作者以目的论为理论依据,选取了顺序法、逆顺法、拆译法、直译、借用原文缩略语等翻译技巧进行翻译。最后,作者对原文进行了审阅和修改,使译文更加严谨和准确,符合公司对译文的要求。基于对本次翻译实践的反思,作者对翻译,尤其是金融英语翻译提出了两点建议:第一,掌握特定领域的背景知识有利于更高效、准确地进行翻译;第二,在翻译过程中,选择合适的翻译技巧有助于译出更高质量的译文。作者希望本报告对提升译者翻译能力有一定的参考价值,同时也希望对非文学翻译起到一定的促进作用。
[Abstract]:With the continuous development of China's reform and opening up and global integration, China's financial transactions with other countries are increasingly close and play an important role in the international financial arena. Financial translation is becoming more and more important in China's economic construction. Financial English texts are characterized by strong lexicon, frequent use of acronyms and strong epoch. Therefore, financial English translation, as a branch of science and technology translation, is very useful for the accuracy of translation. This translation practice report is based on the financial English translation project completed by the author. This practice report introduces the financial translation project and the preparatory work before translation. This includes reading parallel texts and understanding the translation requirements of the financial English industry. Then, the author focuses on the difficulties encountered in the process of translation and the solutions. The two main difficulties are the translation of English long sentences and terms. On the basis of Skopos theory, the author chooses some translation techniques, such as sequence method, inverse sequence method, disassembly method, literal translation, and use of the original abbreviations. The author reviews and modifies the original text in order to make the translation more precise and accurate, and meets the company's requirements for the translation. Based on the reflection of the translation practice, the author puts forward two suggestions for translation, especially financial English translation: first, Knowledge of background in a specific field is conducive to more efficient and accurate translation; second, in the process of translation, The author hopes that this report will be of some reference value to the improvement of the translator's translation competence and will also promote non-literary translation.
