【摘要】：此次翻译实践任务是把英国作家亚历山大麦考尔史密斯的一部作品,《朋友、爱人、巧克力》翻译成汉语。该书出版于2005年,是一本侦探性小说,属于星期日哲学家俱乐部系列。翻译此书有三个意义。首先,此书比较贴近生活,书中涉及到关于家庭,朋友和爱情,从中可以学习到应该如何对待自己的朋友和爱人,如何面对生活中的各种诱惑。当面临危险,我们是应该保全自己还是要出手互相帮衬?书中通过描述人物间发生的故事引起我们对人性的考虑,非常值得一读;其次,译者翻阅了很多网站,都没有找到这本书的译本,只找到了相关的简介和剧情概括,读者留下的书评都非常高。加上译者对此书非常感兴趣,也希望可以有中文译本,让更多的中国人阅读;最后,由于是一本小说,书中描述了很多人物之间的故事,也有大量的对话,让译者对英国生活习俗有一个更深入更形象的了解,对中英国家的文化差异也有一定的了解。本次翻译实践报告一共包括六大部分。第一部分是翻译缘起,介绍了翻译背景以及此次翻译任务的意义。第二部分是对翻译任务的描述,从翻译实践所选材料作者以及作品本身出发,对此次任务做了较详细的介绍。第三部分是翻译过程,主要包括包括翻译前做的准备、翻译中遇到的重难点以及最后审读定稿。第四部分介绍了功能对等理论以及其指导下的翻译方法。第五章是翻译实践的案例分析,分别从词汇、句子和语篇三个方面进行分析。最后一部分是对此次实践报告的总结。在翻译过程中,译者采用的是尤金·奈达的功能对等理论,在该理论的指导下,译者选择了相应的翻译方法,并在翻译中通过具体的实例分析说明了翻译方法的应用。完成此次翻译实践,译者对亲情、友情、爱情有了更深的感悟,也学到很多方法去抵制生活中的不良诱惑。对现实生活有一定的指导意义。另外,译者的翻译水平得到一定的提高,对翻译理论有了更深的理解,对翻译方法的使用也更加熟练。
[Abstract]:The translation practice is to translate a novel by British writer Alexander McCall Smith, "friend, Love, Chocolate" into Chinese.The book, published in 2005, is a detective novel in the Sunday Philosopher Club series.The translation of the book has three meanings.First of all, this book is closer to life. It deals with family, friends and love, and can learn how to treat your friends and loved ones, how to face the temptations in life.When faced with danger, should we protect ourselves or do we have to help each other?The story of what happens between the characters in the book causes us to think about human nature, and it is worth reading. Secondly, the translator reads many websites and does not find a translation of the book, but only a brief introduction and a synopsis of the story.Readers leave very high reviews of books.In addition, the translator is very interested in the book, and he hopes to have a Chinese translation, so that more Chinese people can read it. Finally, because it is a novel, the book describes the stories of many characters, and there is also a lot of dialogue.Let the translator have a deeper and more vivid understanding of the British life and customs, and also have a certain understanding of the cultural differences between China and Britain.The translation practice report consists of six parts.The first part is the origin of translation, introducing the background of translation and the significance of this translation task.The second part describes the translation task in detail, starting from the author of the material selected in translation practice and the work itself.The third part is the process of translation, including the preparation before translation, the difficulties encountered in translation and the final reading.The fourth part introduces the functional equivalence theory and its translation methods.Chapter five is a case study of translation practice from three aspects: vocabulary, sentence and text.The last part is the summary of the practice report.In the process of translation, the translator adopts Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory. Under the guidance of this theory, the translator chooses the corresponding translation method, and illustrates the application of the translation method through the analysis of concrete examples.Through this translation, the translator has a deeper understanding of family, friendship and love, and has learned many ways to resist the bad temptation in life.It has certain guiding significance to the real life.In addition, the translator's translation level has been improved, the translation theory has a deeper understanding, and the use of translation methods is more proficient.
