【摘要】：本翻译实践报告以笔者节选翻译A Wrestling Life的前六章作为分析对象。原作是一本励志类人物传记文本,从广义上也可以看做是一部以叙述为主的散文小说,对于初涉翻译领域的学生来讲,此文本更具实践和研究价值。经与导师商榷,决定将此翻译实践项目作为本翻译实践报告的分析对象。本翻译实践报告是对此次翻译任务过程和完成情况所做的介绍、分析和总结,翻译形式为英译汉,共分为任务描述、过程描述、译前准备、案例分析和实践总结五部分。第一章任务描述介绍了此次任务的来源、内容、要求和进程安排;第二章过程描述从任务的接受、准备、翻译和审校四方面对项目翻译的整个过程进行详细描述;第三章译前准备包括传记文本的文体和语言特点分析、平行文本的阅读分析、原文本的阅读分析、工具书和专有名词翻译以及翻译理论的选择五部分;第四章案例分析是本翻译实践报告的核心章节,根据实践过程中的具体操作,从词层、句层、四字格和修辞翻译四个方面详细分析了转换、意译、增译、省译、正反反正等译法的灵活运用和效果;第五章是此次翻译实践的体会总结,讲述了翻译过程中的亮点、不足以及修改策略。
[Abstract]:This translation practice report takes the first six chapters of A Wrestling Life as the object of analysis.The original is an inspirational biographical text, which can also be regarded as a narrative prose novel in a broad sense. For the students involved in the field of translation, this text has more practical and research value.After discussing with the tutor, it is decided that this translation practice project should be regarded as the analysis object of this translation practice report.This translation practice report is an introduction, an analysis and a summary of the process and completion of the translation. It is divided into five parts: task description, process description, pre-translation preparation, case analysis and practice summary.The first chapter introduces the source, content, requirement and process of the task, the second chapter describes the whole process of project translation from four aspects: task acceptance, preparation, translation and revision.The third chapter consists of five parts: the stylistic and linguistic analysis of the biographical text, the reading analysis of the parallel text, the reading analysis of the original text, the translation of reference books and proper nouns, and the selection of translation theories.Chapter IV case study is the core chapter of this translation practice report. According to the concrete operation in the process of translation, the paper analyzes the conversion, free translation, incremental translation and economizing translation from four aspects: word level, sentence level, four-character level and rhetorical translation.The fifth chapter is a summary of the experience of the translation practice, the highlights of the translation process, shortcomings and modification strategies.
