《通俗新疆史》（六至七章）翻译实践报告

【摘要】：本次翻译任务原文是管守新和万雪玉合著的《通俗新疆史》的第六至第七章。该书出版于2015年,经导师推荐,五位同学参与主要章节的翻译工作。本书是史学类文本,讲究客观性和真实性,内容涉及大量的专业词汇,因此笔者采用著名语言学家、翻译大师尤金·奈达提出的功能对等理论作为理论指导,力求原文和译文能够在语义、文化以及文体方面达到对等。同时结合翻译中遇到的翻译现象和疑难问题,总结出在史学类文本中应采取的相关翻译策略。本报告由五个章节组成。第一章主要对源文本进行简要说明;第二章阐述了翻译过程的三个阶段,即译前准备、翻译过程及译后工作;第三章引入尤金·奈达的翻译理论,探讨史学类文本的翻译策略;第四章为翻译实例,是报告的核心部分。第五章是结语部分,归纳实践中的收获和不足。该项目的译本对新疆历史感兴趣的读者具有参考作用,能够促进和加深国外读者对新疆历史文化的了解。
[Abstract]:This translation task is the sixth-seventh chapter of the popular History of Xinjiang by Guan Shouxin and Wan Xueyu.The book, published in 2015, was recommended by the tutor, and five students participated in the translation of the main chapters.This book is a historical text, which emphasizes objectivity and authenticity, and involves a large number of professional vocabulary. Therefore, the author uses the functional equivalence theory put forward by Eugene Nida, a famous linguist and translator, as the theoretical guidance.Strive to achieve semantic, cultural and stylistic equivalence between the original text and the translation.At the same time, combined with the translation phenomena and difficult problems encountered in translation, this paper summarizes the translation strategies that should be adopted in historical texts.The report consists of five chapters.The first chapter gives a brief description of the source text, the second chapter expounds the three stages of the translation process, namely, the pre-translation preparation, the translation process and the post-translation work, and the third chapter introduces Eugene Nida's translation theory to explore the translation strategies of the historical texts.Chapter four is an example of translation, which is the core part of the report.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part, induces the harvest and the insufficiency in the practice.The translation of the project can be used as a reference for readers interested in Xinjiang history, and can promote and deepen the understanding of Xinjiang history and culture by foreign readers.
