学生课堂展示在大学英语课堂中的应用研究

【摘要】：随着大学英语教学的改革,许多新的教学方法和手段被运用于大学英课堂教学。本文主要基于建构主义理论,研究探讨学生课堂展示在大学英语课堂教学中的应用。本研究旨在研究课堂展示这种教学活动的现状及其有效性。研究问题如下:1.学生对于英语课堂展示活动持怎样的态度?2.大学生从英语课堂展示中有何收获?其在哪些方面对学生英语学习产生了积极影响?3.教师应当如何组织和评价英语课堂展示活动?根据上述问题,本文采用了实证研究的方法。研究对象为随机抽取的三个英语平行班147名学生,均为上海师范大学不同专业的一年级学生,他们在入学英语分班考试中的成绩水平均为低级别。作者综合运用了问卷调查法、访谈法和教学日志三种研究方法。研究结论如下:学生课堂展示这一教学活动符合大学生的英语学习要求,学生对其持积极支持的态度;学生课堂展示具有激发学生学习兴趣、增强学习动力和自信心、培养自主学习和团队协作能力的优点;学生课堂展示符合建构主义对于英语课堂教学的观点,并可在一定程度上提高学生的口语水平和各方面的综合技能。此外,研究表明,只有精心设计和组织的学生课堂展示才能最大限度发挥该活动的优势。仅仅将其作为一种活跃课堂气氛的活动而不进行针对性地指导和培养学生的语言能力,其效果会大打折扣。
[Abstract]:With the reform of college English teaching, many new teaching methods and means have been applied to college English classroom teaching.Based on constructivist theory, this paper explores the application of student classroom presentation in college English classroom teaching.The purpose of this study is to study the present situation and effectiveness of classroom demonstration of this kind of teaching activity.The research question is as follows: 1.What is the student's attitude towards the English class presentation?What are the achievements of college students from English classroom presentations?In what ways has it had a positive impact on students' English learning?How should teachers organize and evaluate English classroom presentations?According to the above problems, this paper adopts the method of empirical research.The subjects of the study were 147 students in three parallel English classes, all of whom were freshmen of different majors in Shanghai normal University.The author makes use of three research methods: questionnaire survey, interview and teaching log.The conclusions of the study are as follows: the teaching activity of students' classroom display meets the requirements of college students' English learning, and the students have a positive attitude towards it, and the students' classroom display can stimulate students' interest in learning, enhance their learning motivation and self-confidence.The students' classroom presentation conforms to the constructivist view of English classroom teaching and can improve the students' oral ability and comprehensive skills to a certain extent.In addition, the study shows that only carefully designed and organized student classroom presentations can maximize the advantage of the activity.Taking it as an activity of active classroom atmosphere without instructing and cultivating students' language ability will greatly reduce the effect.
