【摘要】：随着科学技术的迅速发展,人们的生活水平得到了显著提高。然而人们也比以往能够接触到更多的化学物品。这些化学物品可以致病,甚至可以导致死亡。它们不仅对成年人造成伤害,同样对儿童也带来不良影响。接触化学物品的孕妇同样会给胎儿的身体健康带来伤害,尤其是神经系统方面的。越来越多化学物品的接触会使儿童饱受自闭症、学习障碍和智力障碍等神经发育类疾病的困扰。随着这一领域的研究逐渐增多,对于该领域国外研究的翻译也显得尤为重要。翻译的难点主要体现在英语和汉语二者在文化和语言上的差异。该领域的文章,不论是英语还是汉语,各有特色,即专业知识和文化背景,这些都值得全面系统的研究。本报告是一篇关于《环境危害与神经发育》的英汉翻译实践报告。该书属于医学类文本。在本报告中,基于奈达的功能对等理论对翻译的指导,笔者从三个方面分析了其在翻译过程中遇到的问题,即词汇层面,句法层面和语篇层面。同时,笔者也运用了翻译方法和技巧去解决这些问题,如拆分法和名词化等。在本次翻译实践过程中,笔者学到了很多:第一,医学文本语言简洁,并大量运用专业术语;第二,奈达的功能对等理论以及翻译方法和技巧在翻译中起到了重要的作用;第三,翻译需要耐心和丰富的知识面。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of science and technology, people's living standards have been significantly improved. But people are also exposed to more chemicals than ever before. These chemicals can cause disease and even cause death. They do harm not only to adults, but also to children. Pregnant women exposed to chemicals also cause harm to the health of their fetus, especially in the nervous system. Increasing exposure to chemicals can cause children to suffer from neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, learning disabilities and mental retardation. With the increasing of research in this field, translation of foreign studies in this field is especially important. The difficulty of translation lies in the cultural and linguistic differences between English and Chinese. The articles in this field, whether in English or Chinese, have their own characteristics, that is, professional knowledge and cultural background, which are worthy of comprehensive and systematic study. This report is an English-Chinese translation report on Environmental hazards and Neurodevelopment. The book belongs to the medical text. In this report, based on Nida's functional equivalence theory, the author analyzes the problems encountered in the process of translation from three aspects: lexical level, syntactic level and textual level. At the same time, the author also uses translation methods and techniques to solve these problems, such as split method and nominalization. In the course of translation practice, the author has learned a lot: first, the medical text language is concise, and a large number of professional terms are used; second, Nida's functional equivalence theory and translation methods and techniques play an important role in translation. Third, translation requires patience and a wealth of knowledge.
