语义翻译和交际翻译指导下关于《翻译问题探究》（第3-5章）的翻译报告

【摘要】：本文的翻译材料节选自英国著名翻译理论家纽马克的著作《翻译问题探究》。笔者以该书部分章节的翻译实践为研究对象,在交际翻译理论和语义翻译理论的指导下,从词、句两个层面分析了翻译过程中遇到的问题及所采用的处理方式。《翻译问题探究》属于信息型文本,应当以交际翻译理论作为指导进行翻译。然而,节选部分的语言除了信息型文本的特征外,还具有表达型文本和呼唤型文本的特征。因此,笔者认为:在翻译《翻译问题探究》时,应根据翻译理论的特点选择合适的翻译理论用作翻译实践的指导。交际翻译强调原文信息的传递,并且传递的信息应符合目标语语义和文化的使用习惯,语义翻译强调最大程度地再现源语言正确的语义,译文应最大程度地接近源语言的语法结构和词汇结构。笔者通过翻译实践得出:翻译词汇时,应在词典查询和参考平行文本的基础上结合具体的语境找出目标语中最准确的对等词;当目标语中包含与源语言相对应的成分但词性不同时,应改变词性以适应目标语的语言表达。翻译句子时,如果英汉两种语言中有对应的句子结构,应以语义翻译理论作为指导,保留原文的句子结构;如果翻译英语中常见但汉语中少见的句子,比如被动语态、从句,应以交际翻译理论作为指导,对句子结构做必要的调整、采用增译或减译的方法使译文更符合目标语的表达习惯。期望本翻译报告可以为翻译方面的学术著作提供一定的参考。
[Abstract]:The translation materials of this paper are excerpted from the work of Newmark, a famous British translation theorist. Under the guidance of communicative translation theory and semantic translation theory, the author takes the translation practice of some chapters of the book as the research object. This paper analyzes the problems encountered in the process of translation and the ways to deal with them at the two levels of sentence. "Translation problem Research" belongs to informational text and should be translated under the guidance of communicative translation theory. However, in addition to the features of informational text, the language of excerpts also has the features of expressive text and calling text. Therefore, the author holds that the proper translation theory should be chosen to guide translation practice according to the characteristics of translation theory. Communicative translation emphasizes the transmission of the original information, and the information transmitted should conform to the semantic and cultural usage of the target language. Semantic translation emphasizes the maximum representation of the correct semantics of the source language. The translation should be as close as possible to the grammatical and lexical structures of the source language. The author concludes through translation practice that the most accurate equivalents in the target language should be found on the basis of dictionary query and reference to parallel texts in combination with specific context; When the target language contains elements corresponding to the source language but different parts of speech, the part of speech should be changed to adapt to the target language expression. When translating a sentence, if there is a corresponding sentence structure in both English and Chinese, the semantic translation theory should be used as the guide to retain the sentence structure of the original text; if the sentence structure is common in English but rare in Chinese, such as passive voice, clause, Under the guidance of communicative translation theory, necessary adjustments should be made to the sentence structure, and the method of adding or subtracting should be adopted to make the translation more in line with the target language expression habits. It is hoped that this translation report will provide some reference for academic works on translation.
