关于综合英语课堂教学评价框架的探索研究

【摘要】:本论文研究在中国英语教育环境下有效的课堂观察与评价,旨在根据综合英语教学大赛提炼出一套综合英语课堂教学评价框架,并对该框架进行评估。教育部高等学校英语教学指导委员联合上海外语教育出版社每年举办的“外教社杯”全国高校外语教学大赛给综合英语课堂有效教学和评价带来了重大启示。本研究采取了混合研究方法,选取第三、四、五届大赛中专家对参赛教师表现的点评内容,对其进行定量和定性的内容分析。目的是为了理清专家们从哪些方面和维度对综合英语课堂教学进行观察和评价,从而为框架的开发做铺垫。定量和定性的分析结果表明,专家们主要从五大方面对综合英语课堂教师表现进行观察和评价:1)教学目标设定;2)课堂结构和内容;3)教学组织手段;4)课堂互动形式;5)教师综合素质。其中,特别注重观察和评价课堂结构和内容。基于定量和定性分析结果,研究者初步提炼了一套相应的英语综合课堂观察和教学评价框架,邀请三位英语教学相关的教授对其进行专家验证和评估。而且对教授们进行了半结构化的采访,旨在了解该框架是否适用于真实环境下的综合英语课堂观察和评价。专家验证结果表明,该框架中绝大多数的观察板块和维度都具有代表性和相关性,基本适用于指导真实的综合英语课堂教学观察与评价,但是有些细节需要稍加改进。根据专家的修改建议,研究者进一步改进了该框架。修改后的框架提供多个视角来观察和评价综合英语课堂的有效教学,并对综合英语课堂观察工具的开发具有指导意义。同时也对综合英语课的教学实践具有参考意义。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this thesis is to extract and evaluate a set of comprehensive English classroom teaching evaluation framework according to the Comprehensive English Teaching Competition. The National Foreign language Teaching Competition held by Shanghai Foreign language Education Press (Shanghai Foreign language Education Press) has brought great enlightenment to the effective teaching and evaluation of comprehensive English classroom. This study adopts the mixed research method, selects the third, fourth, fifth competition experts to participate the teacher performance evaluation content, carries on the quantitative and the qualitative content analysis to it. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the aspects and dimensions from which the experts observe and evaluate the comprehensive English classroom teaching, so as to pave the way for the development of the framework. Quantitative and qualitative analysis shows that The experts mainly observed and evaluated the teachers' performance in the comprehensive English classroom from five aspects: (1) the setting of the teaching goal (2) the structure and content of the classroom (4) the classroom interaction form (5) the comprehensive quality of the teacher. Among them, pay special attention to observe and evaluate classroom structure and content. Based on the results of quantitative and qualitative analysis, the researcher preliminarily abstracted a set of framework for comprehensive English classroom observation and teaching evaluation, and invited three professors of English teaching to conduct expert verification and evaluation. Furthermore, semi-structured interviews were conducted to see if the framework was suitable for real English classroom observation and evaluation. The results of expert verification show that most of the observation blocks and dimensions in the framework are representative and relevant, which is suitable for guiding the real comprehensive English classroom teaching observation and evaluation, but some details need to be improved. The researchers further improved the framework in accordance with the experts'suggestions for revision. The revised framework provides a number of perspectives to observe and evaluate the effective teaching of integrated English classes, and is of guiding significance to the development of comprehensive English classroom observation tools. At the same time, it also has reference significance to the teaching practice of comprehensive English course.
