《游戏感人的方式:情感设计》(第一章)翻译实践报告

【摘要】:本文是一篇翻译项目报告。翻译项目的原文为凯瑟琳·伊斯比斯特(Katherine Isbister)编著的《游戏感人的方式:情感设计》(How Games Move Us:Emotion by Design)中的第一章“一系列有趣的选择:情感设计的基本要素”("A Series of Interesting Choices:The Building Blocks of Emotional Design")。作者在本章介绍游戏情感设计的基本要素,提出游戏情感设计的基本原理——心流理论。本翻译报告的主要内容分五部分,第一部分是翻译项目,包括项目的背景、目标、意义等。第二部分介绍原作背景,包括作者简介、主要内容介绍和语言特征等。游戏的情感设计是本章的主要内容,分别从玩家角色、非玩家角色和角色制定三方面介绍了游戏如何带动玩家情感。第三部分是翻译项目中运用的理论,本翻译主要是在奈达的“逆转换”理论上完成的。第四部分陈述翻译难点与翻译方法:在本章的翻译过程中频频出现的游戏名称、心理学词汇和个别短语以及长句的翻译是翻译过程中的难点。在翻译难点时,针对不同的难点有不同的翻译技巧。词汇方面主要运用仿译;句子方面就是拆分和转换。第五部分总结在翻译过程中所得到的启发、教训和仍待解决的问题。
[Abstract]:This article is a translation project report. The fifth part summarizes the inspiration, lessons and problems to be solved in the process of translation.
