【摘要】：当前我国医疗器械市场迅速扩大,已成为继美国和日本后世界第三大医疗器械市场。虽然我国的医疗器械市场潜力巨大,但在医疗机械环保设计意识方面的欠缺正逐渐成为发展瓶颈。本次翻译实践报告选取的A Maturity Grid Assessment Tool for Environmentally Conscious Design in the Medical Device Industry一文中提出了合理且有效的医疗器械设计评估方案。因此,翻译此文本能为我国在该领域的学者、研究人员以及医疗器械市场发展提供积极的借鉴意义。本次翻译实践报告选用了国外环境生态类杂志上的一篇科技研究文献,属于信息型文本。该类型文本的重点是内容而不是形式,翻译时应该以目的语读者为核心。信息型文本以文字语言为主,辅以数字语言和表格,语言特点是逻辑性较强。根据奈达的功能对等理论,翻译就是在译语中再造出首先在意义上,其次在风格上与原语信息最切近而又最自然的对等信息。所以,译者的首要任务是准确传达原文本内容,在翻译过程中,以目的语读者为核心,用词力求准确,在保证准确完整传达原文信息的前提下,保持译文的规范性成为本次翻译实践的重中之重。译者着重在术语和缩略词、引证材料、多义词以及表格和图表四个方面进行处理和分析,确保译文的规范性。对于术语和缩略词,采用查阅工具书,确定其在医疗领域的专业解释和指代作用。借助网络资源,原文中的部分引证可以找到中文译本,其他未有译本的引证则在保持规范性的前提下进行处理。对于原文中出现的大量多义词,译者采取结合上下文的方式,分析并确定其最符合语境的含义。在翻译表格项目时,译者通过学习和借鉴中文表格的常用表达方式去进行翻译。尽管在翻译过程中,译者因医疗器械领域知识背景欠缺遇到很多困难,但借助翻译理论和翻译策略的指导以及通过互联网资源搜集查阅相关资料,这些问题基本都得到了解决。译者在信息型文本的对等翻译方面做出一些初探并希望借此为医疗器械领域文本的翻译人员提供一定的参考。
[Abstract]:At present, China's medical device market has expanded rapidly and has become the third largest medical device market in the world after the United States and Japan. Although the market potential of medical devices in China is great, the lack of environmental protection design consciousness of medical machinery is gradually becoming the bottleneck of development. A reasonable and effective evaluation scheme of medical device design is proposed in A Maturity Grid Assessment Tool for Environmentally Conscious Design in the Medical Device Industry selected in this translation report. Therefore, the translation of this text can provide a positive reference for Chinese scholars, researchers and the development of medical device market. This translation practice report selected a scientific and technological research document in foreign environmental and ecological journals, which belongs to informational text. This type of text focuses on content rather than form and should be translated with the target language reader as the core. Informational text is mainly written language, supplemented by digital language and table, and the language is characterized by strong logic. According to Nida's functional equivalence theory, translation is to recreate, first in meaning and second in style, the most natural and closely related equivalent information in the target language. Therefore, the translator's primary task is to convey the original text accurately. In the process of translation, the target language reader is the core and the words are as accurate as possible, while ensuring the accurate and complete transmission of the original text information. Maintaining the standardization of the translation has become the most important part of the translation practice. The translator focuses on the processing and analysis of terms and acronyms, citation materials, polysemous words, tables and charts to ensure the standardization of the translation. For terms and abbreviations, reference books are used to determine their professional interpretation and referential role in the field of medicine. With the help of network resources, some quotations in the original text can be found in the Chinese version, while the other untranslated citations can be dealt with on the premise of maintaining standardization. For a large number of polysemous words in the original text, the translator adopts a contextual approach to analyze and determine the most contextual meaning. In translating form items, translators learn and learn from the common expressions of Chinese forms. In the process of translation, translators encounter many difficulties because of lack of knowledge background in the field of medical devices. However, with the guidance of translation theory and translation strategies, as well as the collection of relevant information through Internet resources, these problems have been basically solved. The translator makes some tentative research on equivalent translation of informative texts and hopes to provide some references for the translators in the field of medical devices.
