语言接触视角下中国英语词汇研究

【摘要】：本文分别以《牛津字典》里的汉语借词为内圈中国英语词汇来源,《中国日报》2015年新闻中的中国特色文化、政治、经济术语为外圈中国英语词汇来源构建《中国英语词汇表》,以中西方语言接触---中国英语词汇产生---中国英语词汇特征剖析---中国英语词汇对英语的影响为主线,采取定性分析以及对比研究等方法,从语言接触的视角分析了中国英语词汇。研究内容包括以下几个方面:1.成因:从文化,政治,经济层面的接触分析中国英语词汇形成及发展的原因;2.构成:探讨构成中国英语词汇的的翻译方法及使用频率;3.特征:语音特征及语音来源分布、语法特征、语义特征及语义分布,并总结中国英语词汇对标准英语的影响。主要得出以下结论:1.产生的原因可归结为中西方在文化,政治,经济等方面日益频繁的接触,中西语言的碰撞、交融;2.构成方式主要有五种,即:直译,意译,音译,混合译,解释译,其中内圈词汇主要由音译构成,而外圈词汇主要由直译及混合译构成;3.特征:在语音方面,受到中文普通话及方言,威氏拼音,拉丁拼法的影响;语法方面,英语原有词汇的语法功能消失,只保留发音;语义方面:通过语义扩大与缩小,语义褒贬的变化,语义延伸以及语义创新等方式达到表达具有中国特色事物与现象的目的,其中,表达中国特有文化现象的词占比高达82%;因其独特性及不可替代性,中国英语扩大了英语的词汇,增添了英语的多样性,增强了英语的表达力,并填补了中西方的文化空白,为中西方的交流构建了稳固的桥梁;4.中国英语词汇发展中的不足:使用相对混乱,缺乏统一规范。首先,本文致力于中国英语词汇层面的研究,力求从单一层面切入能够使该研究更加细致,系统,深入。其次,区别于简单举例式的论述,本文收集了大量科学,合理的语料,构建了《中国英语词汇表》,并将其分层,以此词汇表为基础,结合科学的研究方法,使得研究过程更加规范,论述更加充分、系统,研究结果更加可靠、客观,这一研究过程具有实践意义,可为后续研究借鉴。同时,在自建词汇表的基础上,本文站在一个更高的高度去研究中国英语词汇,发现了中国英语词汇发展过程中存在的问题,即:使用相当混乱,同一个中国特色事物对应多种中国英语表述,并就此问题的解决提出建议以促进中国英语词汇的规范化使用,并进一步推进中国英语的规范化发展。此外,本文的研究结论对词汇教学、翻译、跨文化交际都有一定的启示。
[Abstract]:This paper takes the Chinese loanwords in Oxford Dictionary as the source of Chinese English vocabulary in the inner circle, and the Chinese culture and politics in the 2015 news of China Daily. The economic terms are the source of China English vocabulary in the outer circle. The main line is the contact between Chinese and Western languages, the generation of Chinese English vocabulary, the analysis of the characteristics of Chinese English vocabulary, and the influence of Chinese English vocabulary on English. By qualitative analysis and contrastive study, this paper analyzes Chinese English vocabulary from the perspective of language contact. The research includes the following aspects: 1. Causes: from the cultural, political and economic levels of contact analysis of the formation and development of Chinese English vocabulary. Structure: explore the translation methods and usage frequency of Chinese English vocabulary. Features: phonological features and the distribution of phonological sources, grammatical features, semantic features and semantic distributions, and the influence of Chinese English vocabulary on standard English is summarized. The main conclusions are as follows: 1. The causes can be attributed to the increasingly frequent cultural, political and economic contacts between China and the West, the collision of Chinese and Western languages, and the blending of Chinese and Western languages. There are five main ways of formation: literal translation, free translation, transliteration, mixed translation, interpretation translation, in which the inner ring vocabulary is mainly composed of transliteration, while the outer ring vocabulary is mainly composed of literal translation and mixed translation. Features: in the phonetic aspect, it is influenced by Mandarin and dialect, Wesch Pinyin, Latin spelling; grammatical aspect, the grammatical function of the original English vocabulary disappears, only the pronunciation is retained; the semantic aspect: expands and shrinks through the semantic meaning, The change of semantic appreciation and derogation, semantic extension and semantic innovation can achieve the purpose of expressing things and phenomena with Chinese characteristics. Among them, the proportion of words expressing Chinese unique cultural phenomenon is as high as 82%, because of its uniqueness and irreplaceable, Chinese English has expanded the vocabulary of English, increased the diversity of English, enhanced the expressive power of English, filled the cultural gap between China and the West, and constructed a solid bridge for the communication between China and the West. Deficiencies in the Development of Chinese English Vocabulary: the usage is relatively confused and there is a lack of uniform norms. First of all, this paper is devoted to the study of Chinese English lexical level, and tries to make the study more detailed, systematic and in-depth from a single level. Secondly, different from the simple illustrative discussion, this paper collects a lot of scientific and reasonable corpus, constructs the Chinese English Vocabulary, and divides it into layers, which is based on the lexicon and combines the scientific research methods. It makes the research process more standardized, more complete, more systematic, more reliable and objective research results, this research process has practical significance, and can be used as a reference for future research. At the same time, on the basis of self-built vocabulary, this paper studies Chinese English vocabulary from a higher level, and finds out the problems in the development of Chinese English vocabulary, that is, the use of English vocabulary is quite confusing. The same thing with Chinese characteristics corresponds to a variety of Chinese English expressions and puts forward some suggestions to solve this problem in order to promote the standardized use of Chinese English vocabulary and to further promote the standardization of Chinese English. In addition, the findings of this paper have some implications for vocabulary teaching, translation and cross-cultural communication.
