《经济学人》中长句的英汉翻译实践报告

【摘要】：长句结构相对较为复杂,往往会给译者带来很大的翻译挑战,而在翻译过程中能否利用正确的翻译策略顺利处理这些长句复杂句便具有一定困难,同时也是十分值得研究和探讨的。本次翻译实践报告的翻译案例来自于英文版《经济学人》。《经济学人》的商务新闻报道语言极具鲜明特色,包含许多长句。本翻译报告中译者共选取20句长句案例,从直译、分译、词性转换、重组法四种翻译策略来深入探讨和分析长句翻译并进行了总结,运用这些翻译方法和技巧以解决翻译当中遇到的困难。对于长句英汉翻译,理解力和表达方式非常重要,这也将对今后长句翻译的实践和翻译理论具有启示作用。本翻译实践报告共分为四部分,第一部分为翻译任务介绍;第二部分为翻译过程;第三部分为本报告的主体内容,结合案例分析研究翻译策略;第四部分为总结。作者在此实践过程中收获很多,翻译理论素养以及实践能力也有所提高。
[Abstract]:The structure of long sentences is relatively complex, which often brings great translation challenges to the translator. However, it is difficult to deal with these complex sentences successfully with the correct translation strategies in the process of translation. At the same time, it is also worth studying and discussing. The translation case of this translation practice report comes from the English version of the Economist. The Business News reporting language of the Economist is very distinctive and contains many long sentences. In this report, a total of 20 long sentences are selected to explore and analyze the translation of long sentences from four translation strategies: literal translation, partial translation, part-of-speech conversion and recombination. Use these translation methods and techniques to solve the difficulties encountered in translation. It is very important to understand and express long sentences in English-Chinese translation, which will be helpful to the practice and translation theory of long sentences in the future. The translation practice report is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction of translation tasks; the second part is the translation process; the third part is the main content of this report, the case study of translation strategies; the fourth part is a summary. The author has gained a lot in the process of translation theory and practice.
