【摘要】：文化交往在世界各民族间,日益频繁和扩大,翻译已成为语言交流中一座不可或缺的桥梁。小说与散文、诗歌、戏剧并称为四大文学门类。针对小说这种文学作品的翻译,怎样克服语言习惯的差异,将原作中的情节生动呈现出来成为笔者重点解决的问题。本文是笔者翻译小说Man and Wife的翻译实践报告。面对丰富的文本内容,笔者选择了纽马克的翻译理论—语义翻译和交际翻译作为理论基础。因为这一理论归纳了三种文本类型—表达功能型、信息功能型和呼唤功能型,很适用于小说中不同的语言表达。除了选择恰当的翻译理论作为基础,好的译文还需要具体到语言细节上的处理。在这个过程中,笔者结合英译汉的特点选择了词类转换、增译、拆译等翻译方法。通过以上方面的努力,笔者尽量使译文和原文在内容和风格上保持一致,争取达到与原文接近的文学效果。报告内容主要包括四部分:引言、原文介绍、翻译案例分析和总结。笔者结合语义翻译和交际翻译理论对整个翻译过程及相关文本内容的处理方法进行总结,还对英译汉的翻译技巧进行了举例阐述。本报告呈现的翻译案例分析,是笔者对自己的翻译过程中的思考和一些处理方法的记录,希望能为文学小说翻译提供一个案例。
[Abstract]:With the increasing frequency and expansion of cultural exchanges among nations in the world, translation has become an indispensable bridge in language exchange. Novels and prose, poetry, drama are known as the four major categories of literature. How to overcome the differences of language habits and present the plot vividly in the original works has become a key problem for the translation of literary works such as novels. This paper is the translation practice report of the author's translation novel Man and Wife. In the face of abundant text content, the author chooses Newmark's translation theory-semantic translation and communicative translation as the theoretical basis. Because this theory induces three kinds of text types: expression function, information function and call function, they are suitable for different language expressions in the novel. In addition to choosing appropriate translation theories as the basis, a good translation needs to be dealt with in detail. In this process, the author chooses some translation methods, such as part of speech conversion, incremental translation and translation breaking, according to the characteristics of English-Chinese translation. Through the above efforts, the author tries to keep the content and style of the translation and the original text consistent, and strive to achieve a literary effect close to that of the original text. The report mainly includes four parts: introduction, translation case analysis and summary. Combined with semantic translation and communicative translation theory, the author summarizes the whole process of translation and the processing methods of relevant text content, and illustrates the translation skills of English-Chinese translation. The translation case analysis presented in this report is a record of the author's thinking and some processing methods in the process of translation, hoping to provide a case for literary novel translation.
