语言学博士学位论文摘要的语篇策略对比分析

【摘要】:本文以中国ESL学习者和英语本族语者语言学博士论文摘要中的高频序列为研究起点,调查摘要各语步中以高频序列为核心的典型短语型式及语篇功能,通过对比探索国内论文作者的语篇策略。研究发现,不同于英语本族语作者,国内博士生常采用顺应以往研究、侧重理据依据、秉持客观态度、侧重对比描述等特有的语篇策略。本文可为EAP研究、短语学研究及学术英语写作教学提供理论参照及语言证据。
[Abstract]:Based on the high frequency sequences in the abstracts of Chinese ESL learners and native speakers in linguistics, this paper investigates the typical phrase patterns and textual functions of high frequency sequences as the core in each step. This paper attempts to explore the author's discourse strategies by contrast. It is found that, unlike native English language authors, domestic doctoral students often adopt specific textual strategies, such as adapting to previous studies, focusing on motivation, maintaining an objective attitude, and focusing on contrastive description. This paper can provide theoretical reference and linguistic evidence for EAP study, phrasology research and academic English writing teaching.
