表达型文本的语言认同—《彼得兔夫人》翻译实践报告

【摘要】:美国作家桑顿·伯吉斯(Thornton W.Burgess)于1919年创作Mrs.Peter Rabbit一书,同年利特尔-布朗公司首次出版该书。该书属于儿童文学领域,主要读者是儿童。儿童文学不同于成人文学,其语言简洁,表达生动,通俗易懂,富有童趣。近年来,随着外国儿童文学的引入,国人对儿童文学翻译研究的逐渐深入,“儿童本位”的翻译观不断深入人心,译文也越来越贴近儿童生活。凯瑟琳娜·莱斯(Katharina Reiss)的文本类型理论指出文本类型决定翻译策略和翻译方式。莱斯于20世纪60年代提出了文本类型理论,她把文本划分为三种类型,即表达型、信息型和操作型文本。其中表达型文本通过艺术手法来组织内容,从而使文本具有创造性和美学特点。翻译表达型文本需要采用“认同翻译”的方法,即忠实原作者要表达的思想内容及其语言风格。本文对译文进行研究,分析在处理表达型文本的过程中如何灵活使用“认同翻译”方法。通过分析得出“认同翻译”对该类文本具有重要的指导作用。本文包括四个部分。第一部分介绍翻译任务;第二部分介绍翻译过程,其中包括译前准备,翻译过程及译后校对;第三部分是全文的主体部分,主要从语音、词汇、句法和篇章四个角度来论证认同翻译在表达型文本翻译中的应用;第四部分是结论,进一步说明翻译的主要成果、不足及建议。
[Abstract]:Thornton W. Burgess, American writer Thornton W. Burgess, wrote Mrs.Peter Rabbit in 1919, when the book was first published by the Little-Brown Company. The book belongs to the field of children's literature, the main reader is children. Children's literature is different from adult literature, its language concise, vivid expression, easy to understand, rich in childlike interest. In recent years, with the introduction of foreign children's literature and the gradual deepening of the study of children's literature translation, the concept of "child-centered" translation has become more and more popular, and the translation is more and more close to children's life. Katharina Reissin's text type theory points out that text type determines translation strategies and translation methods. Rice put forward the text type theory in the 1960s. She divided the text into three types: expressive type, information type and operative text. The expressive text organizes the content by artistic means, which makes the text creative and aesthetic. The translation of expressive text needs to adopt the method of "identity translation", that is, the content and language style of the faithful original author. This paper studies the translation and analyzes how to flexibly use the "identity translation" method in the process of dealing with expressive texts. Through analysis, it is concluded that identity translation plays an important guiding role in this kind of text. This paper includes four parts. The first part introduces the task of translation; the second part introduces the process of translation, including pre-translation preparation, translation process and post-translation proofreading; the third part is the main part of the full text, mainly from the pronunciation, vocabulary, This paper discusses the application of identity translation in the translation of expressive texts from syntactic and textual perspectives. The fourth part is a conclusion, which further explains the main achievements, shortcomings and suggestions of translation.
