PRETCO-B对福建高职院校公共英语教学的反拨作用研究

【摘要】：新一轮的高职院校公共英语课程改革提出将公共英语教学以职业为导向,结合专业课程教育开展“实用为主、够用为度”的原则,培养高职学生实际应用英语进行学习与拓展的专业通识能力,更加突出教学内容的针对性与实用性。高等学校英语应用能力考试(PRETCO),是为反映和评价高职学生修完公共英语课程英语应用能力而设立的标准化英语水平考试。根据大纲要求,高等学校英语应用能力考试分A级和B级,B级考试略低于A级考试。PRETCO-B在福建省高职院校中已广泛开展,具有较强的普及性与权威性。因此为了更好地发挥PRETCO-B对福建高职院校公共英语教学的正面反拨作用,笔者开展了PRETCO-B对福建高职院校公共英语教学的反拨作用实证研究。本研究以AldersonWall的反拨作用假说理论和Bailey的反拨作用基本模型为理论基础,通过问卷调查和访谈等研究方法对福建省7所高职院校的11名公共英语任课教师和320名非英语专业大二学生进行调查研究,旨在探究以下几个问题:(1)PRETCO-B对福建高职学生学习的反拨作用有哪些?(2)PRETCO-B对福建高职公共英语教师教学的反拨作用有哪些?(3)PRETCO-B对福建高职英语教学模式改革有何反拨作用?研究结果表明:(1)PRETCO-B对高职学生学习的反拨作用主要体现在学习内容、学习动机、学习方式等方面。(2)PRETCO-B对教师教学的反拨作用主要体现在教学内容、教学动机、教学方法等方面。(3)PRETCO-B对福建高职英语教学模式改革的反拨作用正面高于负面反拨作用。基于以上研究结果,笔者从对教师的教、学生的学、管理者的引导、测试本身等方面对提升PRETCO-B的正面反拨作用提出相关的可行性启示建议。
[Abstract]:The new round of Public English curriculum reform in Higher Vocational Colleges puts forward the principle of taking the teaching of Public English as career oriented, and combining professional curriculum education with the principle of "practicality and sufficiency", to cultivate the professional knowledge ability of students in practical English learning and expansion, and to highlight the pertinence and practicality of the teaching content. The College English application ability test (PRETCO) is a standardized English proficiency test set up to reflect and evaluate the English application ability of higher vocational students. According to the requirements of the syllabus, the College English application ability test is divided into a grade A and a B grade, and the B level examination is slightly lower than the A test.PRETCO-B in Higher Vocational Colleges in Fujian province. In order to give full play to the positive backwash effect of PRETCO-B on the public English Teaching in Fujian higher vocational colleges, the author has carried out an empirical study on the backwash effect of PRETCO-B on the public English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges in Fujian. The research is based on the theory of the backwash effect of AldersonWall and the backwash of the Bailey. The basic model is the theoretical basis. Through questionnaire survey and interview and other research methods, 11 public English teachers and 320 non English major students in 7 higher vocational colleges in Fujian province are investigated. The purpose of this study is to explore the following questions: (1) what is the backwash effect of PRETCO-B on Fujian high school students' learning? (2) PRETCO-B pairs What is the backwash effect of the teaching of Fujian Higher Vocational Public English teachers? (3) what is the backwash effect of PRETCO-B on the reform of English teaching mode in Fujian higher vocational colleges? The results show that: (1) the backwash effect of PRETCO-B on the learning of higher vocational students is mainly reflected in the learning content, learning motivation, and learning methods. (2) the backwash of PRETCO-B for teachers' Teaching It is mainly embodied in teaching content, teaching motivation, teaching methods and so on. (3) the reverse role of PRETCO-B on the reform of Fujian Vocational English teaching mode is higher than negative backwash. Based on the above research results, the author from the teacher's teaching, student learning, manager guidance, test itself and other aspects of the promotion of the positive reverse of the PRETCO-B The role proposed the relevant feasibility inspiration suggestion.
