民族共同语与英格兰身份认同

【摘要】：共同语言是群体身份的重要标识,语言则是文化认同的一个重要构成要素。英语作为英格兰文化的主要构成因素,也是英格兰身份认同的关键。中世纪晚期,英语重新成为英格兰的官方语言,并逐步确立了自身作为宗教语言和文学语言的地位。成为民族共同语的英语在英格兰身份认同的建构中起到了极其重要的作用,加快了近代英格兰民族国家形成的步伐。
[Abstract]:Common language is an important symbol of group identity, and language is an important component of cultural identity. English, as the main factor of English culture, is also the key to English identity. In the late Middle Ages, English became the official language of England and gradually established itself as a religious language and a literary language. English as a common language plays a very important role in the construction of identity in England and accelerates the formation of a nation-state in modern England.
