《英语教学中的教材和方法:教师手册》(第二部分)翻译实践报告

【摘要】:本论文是一篇英汉翻译实践报告。翻译项目文本节选自由乔·麦克多诺(Jo McDonough)、克里斯托弗·肖(Christopher Shaw)和增原仁美(Hitomi Masuhara)编写的《英语教学中的教材和方法:教师手册》(Materials and Methods in ELT,A Teacher’s Guide)的第二部分(Part 2 Language Teaching Skills)。随着中国经济、科技、政治等方面不断取得伟大成就,外语的利用率与学习热度达到了空前的高度,这也使得英语教学日益受到人们的关注。该书将英语教学理论与教学实践联系起来,从语言学领域的相关问题出发,主要讲述了英语教学中的教材设计与教学方法。该书目所传达的内容信息严谨,逻辑性较强,故笔者将本次翻译项目文本归属于信息型文本。在翻译实践中,笔者采取交际翻译策略,以读者和译入语为导向,运用多种翻译方法,如增译、转换、直译、拆译、以及合译等进行翻译,并从词汇、语句以及语篇三个层面对此项目的翻译进行分析、自省与总结。此翻译实践报告分为五个部分。第一部分为翻译缘起,阐述了本次翻译项目的背景以及此次实践的目的与意义。第二部分为翻译项目描述,介绍原文本及其作者,并阐述整个翻译项目的过程;第三部分为本次实践报告理论框架详论研究;第四部分是翻译案例分析,笔者主要在词汇、语句两个方面的案例进行分析;第五部分是翻译项目总结,笔者从本次翻译实践出发,认真分析、研究本次翻译实践过程中所遇到的难点,总结在这一过程中的收获,概括自身在实践过程中的不足和今后的实践中可能会引起注意的问题。
[Abstract]:This thesis is a practical report on English-Chinese translation. The translated text is selected from part 2 language Teaching skills by Jo McDonough, Christopher Shaw and Hitomi Masuhara. Materials and methods in English Teaching: a TeachersGuide. With the great achievements in economy, science and technology, politics and so on, the utilization rate of foreign language and the heat of learning have reached an unprecedented high level, which makes English teaching more and more concerned. The book links the theory of English teaching with the teaching practice, and mainly discusses the design and teaching methods of teaching materials in English teaching from the perspective of the related problems in the field of linguistics. The bibliography conveys strict and logical information, so the author attributes the translated text to the informational text. In the practice of translation, the author adopts communicative translation strategies, takes the reader and target language as the guide, and uses various translation methods, such as addition, conversion, literal translation, deconstruction, and co-translation, to translate from the lexical perspective. The translation of the project is analyzed, introspected and summarized at the three levels of sentence and text. This translation practice report is divided into five parts. The first part is the origin of translation, the background of this translation project and the purpose and significance of the practice. The second part is the translation project description, which introduces the original text and its author, and describes the whole process of the translation project; the third part is the detailed study of the theoretical framework of the practice report; the fourth part is the translation case analysis, the author mainly in the vocabulary. The fifth part is the summary of translation projects. The author analyzes the difficulties encountered in the process of translation practice from the perspective of the translation practice, and summarizes the gains made in this process. Summarize their shortcomings in the process of practice and future practice may attract attention.
