《封神英雄榜Ⅱ》（节选）字幕翻译报告

【摘要】：影视业是一个国家文化的重要组成部分。为了翻译《封神英雄榜Ⅱ》,笔者以此翻译项目为基础,进行了相关的研究,希望帮助外国观众更好地了解中国文化。本报告以奈达的功能对等理论为指导,讨论了字幕翻译的特征和相关策略,并从三个方面对字幕翻译的方法进行了探讨:人名地名翻译、文化负载词翻译以及句子翻译。分析研究发现,字幕翻译受到时空限制,因而译文要力求简洁,通俗易懂。另外,归化、异化在本项任务中具有较强的指导作用。音译、音译加意译是处理人名、地名的主要方法。直译、意译与省略在处理文化负载词时效果较好。而在句子翻译方面,缩译、替代与省略使用频繁。通过具体的案例分析,笔者希望本翻译报告能有助于提高字幕翻译的质量。
[Abstract]:The film and television industry is an important part of a country's culture. In order to translate the list of Heroes of the God-worshiping, the author has carried out a related study on the basis of the translation project, hoping to help foreign audiences better understand Chinese culture. Guided by Nida's functional equivalence theory, this paper discusses the characteristics and strategies of subtitle translation, and probes into the methods of subtitle translation from three aspects: name translation, culture-loaded word translation and sentence translation. The analysis shows that subtitle translation is limited by time and space, so the translation should be concise and easy to understand. In addition, domestication, alienation in this task has a strong guiding role. Transliteration, transliteration and free translation are the main methods of dealing with names and place names. Literal translation, free translation and ellipsis are effective in handling culture-loaded words. In the aspect of sentence translation, contraction, substitution and ellipsis are frequently used. Through a case study, the author hopes that this translation report will help to improve the quality of subtitle translation.
