《当代马克思主义》（第三十章、三十一章）翻译实践报告

【摘要】：《当代马克思主义理论》一书是由国际马克思主义研究学者彭达基斯、迪亚曼蒂、罗宾逊、布朗、塞曼五位学者等联合选编而成。本书一共收录了41位学者的34篇文章,从历史融合、社会变迁、哲学思想、文化理论以及政治机制等角度展示了近几十年来马克思主义理论的发展。本翻译实践材料选自该书的第三十和三十一章。本次实践源于导师的翻译项目,由于人文学科学术著作的专业性和本书的前沿性,对译者提出了很高的要求。在翻译过程中,导师给予了许多具体的指导。原文本中的术语、长难句、被动句和文章连贯性是翻译中的关键点。一词多义和抽象词经常出现,必须结合上下文正确理解词语所要表达的意思。在长难句的翻译中,需要首先对句子进行分析,确定其难点,然后再采用合适的方法对其进行翻译。某些长句逻辑关系与中文是相同的,可以运用顺译法;反之则使用逆译法。某些长句的意群之间逻辑关系相对独立,可以使用分译法来处理。某些句子结构复杂,行文习惯不同于中文,需要综合运用不同的译法进行翻译处理。翻译被动句,需要根据具体情况转换为主动句或保留其被动语态。在文章连贯性方面,可以通过语法和词汇两种方式来处理。本报告对整个翻译过程进行了分析和总结。笔者也希望通过分享个人的翻译经验和教训,为其他人文学术著述翻译工作者提供参考。
[Abstract]:Contemporary Marxist Theory is a joint selection of five scholars, I. e., Pendakis, Dimanti, Robinson, Brown and Zeeman, who are international scholars of Marxist studies. The book contains 34 articles by 41 scholars, showing the development of Marxist theory in recent decades from the perspectives of historical integration, social change, philosophical thought, cultural theory and political mechanism. This translation practice is selected from chapters 30 and 31 of the book. Due to the professionalism of academic works in humanities and the vanguard of this book, the translator is required to do so. In the process of translation, the tutor gives many concrete guidance. Terms, long difficult sentences, passive sentences and textual coherence in the original text are the key points in translation. Polysemous and abstract words often appear and must be properly understood in context. In the translation of long difficult sentences, it is necessary to analyze the sentences first, determine their difficulties, and then use appropriate methods to translate them. Some long sentences have the same logical relationship with Chinese, which can be translated by the method of sequence translation, or vice versa. The logical relations between the sense groups of some long sentences are relatively independent, which can be dealt with by division translation. Some sentences have complex structure and different writing habits, so they need to be translated with different translation methods. To translate a passive sentence, it is necessary to convert it into an active sentence or to retain its passive voice according to the specific circumstances. In the aspect of article coherence, we can deal with it in two ways: grammar and vocabulary. The present report analyses and summarizes the whole process of translation. The author also hopes to share his translation experience and lessons to provide reference for other literary translators.
